Personally, I love NECA's Nova figure. And yeah, I forgot about those pillars...I have to keep an eye out for 'em.

So, they revealed the free things that come with Alien X Club. It's a cardboard diorama. It's pretty awesome, but I definitely don't need it. They also announced that it's only the 7" figures that are must buys. I'm glad I didn't jump on the club right away. 15 releases means 5 series @ $17 in shipping each. That's almost a hundred bucks for some cardboard & the chance to buy the end of year exclusive.
Is it worth it? I'm really on the fence. Will I be able to find the exclusive figure on the secondary market for $100, if it is, in fact, something I want? I'm not a gambler by any means & this seems like a big gamble. |

Well...Those "Versus" sets may finally get me to jump on the NECA bandwagon, which I have thus far avoided simply because I didn't want to get into collecting another line, even if I was sorely tempted.
