That is a little weird, I'm guessing it's either angle or the ab crunch. Not a deal breaker here.

I was a relative late-comer to this franchise (and now it has become one of my favorite game franchises), so I missed out on the many other Kratos figures that NECA released a few years ago. My collection is desperate for a Kratos figure, so this one is a definite must-buy for me !
The Dante figure (from Devil May Cry) that NECA finally released earlier this summer has become one of my favorite NECA figures so far, and I anticipate that this one might be as well.

How about they do something other than just another Kratos for a change?

They probably wouldn't sell. The franchise is no longer "hot" and I just don't see it either. Kratos is a fair bet because it's been a good while since his last release from them and being the main character fans are likely to spring on it. Some other characters could be really neat but if only fifty people buy them then it's a poor decision business-wise. There's a ton of stuff I know NECA would like to make if they didn't also have to earn a profit.

They barely managed to squeeze out Dante apparently, but yes with these no-new-release titles it's pretty fuzzy at best as to whether any other characters would sell or not except for the main character so it's always better to play it safe than to potentially lose a lot of money and waste resources/hours.

I'm pretty psyched that the are kicking out these "ultimate" figures. Good opportunity to catch figures you may have missed, and they are loaded with accessories. Good deal! I wish they had some ultimate Resident Evil stuff in the works.

IF they had the license, I think Leon would be the only character to qualify for true ultimate treatment, anything else could just be a regular release.

Oh yeah, if they did the trench-coat look. I forgot about Wesker, I usually just remember the hero character and the monsters not the actual bad guy.

Personally I'd go with his RE5 look. With or without the coat would be cool with me. I'd say Claire would be another good choice since they never made a figure of her. And maybe an RE5 Jill as well to go with the Chris they made.
Not like it matters anyway since they don't make RE figures anymore. |

Yup. Prayers answered. Though they should widen that waist a bit. Looks like poor Kratos lost a battle with a corset...

It's possible that by final release he could be different. When they first solicited ultimate Leatherface he had a lifted left shoulder, presumably for chainsaw poses, but the final one appears to have normal shoulders.

If they are going to cal him Ultimate Kratos, they should pack him with ALL of his weapons from the game.

I think that'd be kinda funny, a fairly large box full of various weapons and then a figure of Kratos off in the corner.
