NECA Universal Monsters Mummy – Pics and Details

Looks great! Does his hips look effeminate to anyone else? Too bad he doesnt come with the sarcophagus.

Really excited for this one...not sold on the open mouth head though.

Does it come with the Sarcophagus? It's not mentioned, but I'd rather have it than that strange third head.

Based on their description, I guess the sarcophagus is just for the promo pics and won't come with him. A shame because it would make a great display piece. I'd pay extra for a deluxe version that came with it.


And here's my preverbial question I ask every time NECA teases more of these Universal Monsters:

When are we ever going to see what they have planned for Hammer Horror?! The license was announced last October ago and we're still waiting to find out what they are going to do with it. I'm still dreading that it'll be a cheap 8" MEGO line instead of a proper plastic 7" line like these Universal Monsters.

Ha, I was gonna mention Hammer too. It's almost been an entire year when they first announced it. Thought we wouldve seen something by now. At the very least a Lee Dracula.

He really should come with that sarcophagus. Weaksauce that they show it off but it’s not included. The sarcophagus is the best part.

Would like to see more B&W's, but hey, a figure like this is not going to have that colorful a pallet.

Well that's disappointing. He only looked like that for the first few minutes of the movie. If they wanted a mummified monster they should have done Karis. I was hoping given Wolf-Man includes a Larry head, hands, and feet that NECA would have went all out and included an Ardiff Bane head and robes to put over the body.

The sarcophagus probably be in their Ultimate Ultimate edition or they release it again months later after everyone already bought the first one like King Kong, the Thing, and Aliens Arcade, and Casey Jones. Tired if purchasing Neca right out of the gate just to be repackaged with different accessories. At least the cartoon turtles haven't met the same fate if you can find them.

Maybe they'll release the sarcophagus with his robes and Ardiff Bay head.

There's no way they could think that people weren't expecting the sarcophagus, they've been using it to tease the figure for months, so I'm expecting it'll be part of future accessory packs. Props, small diorama pieces, etc.

It would totally be in keeping with their other horror licenses

YO, I had the exact similar thought, just going my initial overall thoughts of the Figure. The designers gave this Mummy some Big Baby-Making Hips, the F.... All Wide and Pelvic like . LOL

I really didn't expect the sarcophagus and keep the $30-35 price point. If that's included it would be $50+.
