This is another solid ultimate lost tribe reveal however, it feels a little weaker than some of the other updates.
The unmasked head sculpt is really good but for some reason I’m left wanting more from this figure but I don’t know what. Maybe if he included a few more melee weapons or a collapsed version of the axe that could clip to his back? Thoughts? |

I'm sure it's movie-accurate, but it's also BORING. |

Maybe you're having the same problem that I am? That it's hard to get excited for yet ANOTHER re-use of the City Hunter and/or Jungle Hunter with minor cosmetic differences and one or two new accessories mixed in with a whole bunch that we've seen many, many times before?
I'm sure it's movie-accurate, but it's also BORING.

You and me both. This body has just gotten way too much re-use. (And for NECA, that's saying something.)

I don’t know, I really like it. I understand the concerns but I don’t share them. Totally solid.

I also would like to see the Super Predators updated with unique unmasked head sculpts for Falconer and Tracker. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Alpha Predator body will be reused for those. Let’s not forget we also have a fifth Predator movie on the horizon too. Even a bad movie may lead to some awesome designs. |

I kinda wish the armor and helmet were more unique. I would have settled for fewer weapons in exchange for that. The axe and flail are very cool, though. This gives me hope for maybe some Hunting Grounds figures.

Seconded. For me an ultimate Berserker is probably the only other movie predator I'm waiting to be shown, technically ultimate Wolf has already been shown to us even if it was a prototype years ago.
There's definitely a copy-paste element to the lost tribe so it's not a surprise that these figures are already hitting me with fatigue only 4 or 5 into the line-up. Borg/Lost is the only particular standout member in the movie and they did his ultimate first. Obviously NECA is doing some work to add in their own flavor to each figure so they could still reveal one or two later that are more outstanding (Randy implied that what they've done with Shaman is pretty cool) but so far it's hard to feel wowed.

So this is the fifth lost-tribe predator for ultimates? Correct?

2. Scout 3. Stalker 4. Guardian 5. Battle damaged City Hunter 6. Warrior So we've still got Greyback, Boar, Snake, and Shaman to go. In the movie it's really hard to tell since the lighting is so orange and there's heavy fog but behind the scenes images definitely show that Warrior is indeed a faded grey-blue color. I also like how it looks but I've already got their Hive Wars Predator as my resident blue predator.

Was the Guardian release for this month, right?
About the constant re-use, really only Shaman, Greyback, Borg, Boar and Snake are the distincg predators of the group, so the rest is normal to be tired because the same sculpt except for different mask and accesories About this Warrior predator, looks great in general (blue is slightly different, has more dark dots, if you are movie accurate), indeed the unmask face seems based on previews color skin for the original predator 2, but is ok. May be a collapse axe to put on the back armour would be cool. Cheers bros. Last edited by 1morpheo1; 02-24-2021 at 05:35 PM.. Reason: image reference |

Yes. It's been a little while but if I remember right he was one of the Preds standing next to Greyback.

and looks like hes the one on the right here: I really only collect masked predators, i had the armored lost, but i sold it off, because he didn't look like that in the movie, and i didn't want to display him unmasked. anyway predator 2 is awesome. and im glad neca is making all of these, even if some of them are a little redundant. |

With all these ultimate upgrades of the Lost Tribe I wish they'd re-release the Trophy Wall diorama for those of us who missed it the first time, along with the trophy skulls pack that went with it. It rarely goes up on ebay and when it does it sells for $300+

Totally confusing. Why they have different names. I found this out years ago with the first releases that there are many different names for each lost predator.
Shabby.....I didn’t know the trophy wall went so high. I own it. It’s cool but damn, it’s heavy. I mean like a cinder block heavy. I missed the accessory set, but I have an issue with the corpse. I can’t even have frank and Julia from hellraiser in front on my shelves. Lol. |

I believe there's talk of a reissue in the near future.
