Man I was at a Target yesterday and all they had for the 4 inch line was three Yoshis.
Glad I got my Link in from Jakks' website to tide me over.

My Targets have four Yoshis, 5 Marios, 4 Warios, and 8 DKs.
BTW, I did not know these were made my Jakks. I hope any Metroids I buy are not pre-broken.

Targets in my area have the 4" figures on sale for $6.99 and the 2.5" figures marked down to $2.99. All my Targets mostly have the 4" Wario with a lone Yoshi here and there. Fortunately, one Target had the 2.5" Link and Ganondorf from Windwaker so I picked those up.

Nice effects. They add a Paper Mario feel to the scene.

I use the KNEX Goomba, Cheep Cheep, Shy Guy, and Bob-Omb's in my display also. I think they fit well. I am kinda scared of how big the new 4 inch Goomba and Shy Guy's are going to come off for series 3 of the nintendo figures.

My plan if the new one is too big is to use it as a King Goomba and let it wear Peaches crown, lol. I molded the figuarts Goomba and painted my new army. |

Man this is so awesome, it really looks like you have a video game amount of things and Bowser would keep throwing bobombs and goombas would keep coming.
This scene makes me really want a Super Mario style Yoshi. I really prefer his original look because he looked like a mount and not an individual fighter. Last edited by CyttoraksCousin; 03-10-2015 at 02:05 PM.. Reason: avoid double post |

Really easy to make, its just a piece of foam board with the paper peeled off. Then I took a candle jar to trace the shapes and a ruler to make the straight lines. The Blocks were made of Thicker pink Insulation foam and the "?" block is the one that hides the mystery items.
I'm pretty sure the whole thing cost me less than $2, as I already had the paint. I agree with the Yoshi thing hopefully the 6" one will be mountable Last edited by K Dubious; 03-10-2015 at 02:23 PM.. |

Now, I know that you should abandon all hope of scale when collecting any toyline but bear with me...
Having decided to collect the Link, Samus and Fox in 4" scale, I realised that would make them taller than the DK and Bowser I already have. Having consulted a few scale guides, I now definitely need that 6" Bowser. DK seems to vary in size, in Smash Bros he's huge so the 6" definitely works, in other games he's smaller so what I already have works. Sod it, I'll get the 6" DK as well.

It is from a Burger King toy, some DK Barrel Bowling game. It is funny when I very first was looking for these I found a lot of 4 for about $15, but passed, and now they are no where to be found. Luckily my good friend CyytoraksCousin found these a few years ago at Goodwill for $.05 so he is letting me "borrow" one.
