Looks promising, although the curly ears bug me. I'm still waiting for a sculpt with small ears that point straight up like small, sharp knife blades.

Honestly, I could look past that. I just hope the overall body in terms of anatomy and proportion look good. From what I could see, the head sculpt is phenomenal, but the body looks a little too plain. Hopefully he looks jacked under that cloth haha.

I just want it to look better than the Mezco 1:12 scale line, hopefully this figure isn't just a large version of that line.

I feel it that it looks a bit too bland. Feels like someone is cosplaying Batman. The unmasked head does look awesome though!

Everything looks great but I'm not feeling the unmasked head sculpt it looks off... it's like what if Adam West was a serious Batman instead of a silly Batman. Just doesn't scream comic Batman like the unmasked Bruce Wayne's head from Mezco's Ascending Knight Batman.

Not feeling it, oh well. My wallet is relieved.

All in all though I think it looks pretty cool. Kinda like my Mezco 1/12th version actually (so I think Hoover spleen is gonna be bummed). |

The design feels like a modernised tribute to the 40's Batman (thus the simplicity of the suit and the lack of body muscles).

It isn't my cup of tea, but that head sculpt is decent.

What a great concept... But very poorly executed IMO. Such a skinny Dark Knight!

Hmm, it's as I thought. The body is way to skinny and average looking for a batman. This fact also makes his head appear larger. Disappointing, because both the masked and unmasked heads look absolutely phenomenal.

I mean, if you look at the last picture, the width of this head is almost as wide as his torso. Maybe that's just the angle?

You are tearing me apart, Martha!
Avoiding the same observations as everyone else, that closeup up the fabric is concerning. It looks like it can snag easily and that is very worrisome considering the price of the figure that offers very little in the way of accessories. |
