Legends was a bit of an oddball show for me. On one hand, they spend way too much time in the past, and it's an uninteresting version of the past at that. When they announced this show, it looked like they'd be doing some universe expansion via having them team up with heroes of the past. Show beings like Doctor Fate fighting in WW2 with Steve Trevor, or a future version of the Flash fighting crime in the 2040's or something like that. Heck, maybe we could've had Wild Cat from Arrow make an appearance from his crime fighting days! We only really got that in 2 episodes, and those are probably some of the best of the series so far, just a shame that we couldn't have gotten that more.
What I really liked about it, though, was the characters and their interactions. Every character you liked from Arrow and the Flash is portrayed well here, and the less defined characters are handled brilliantly as well. Heck, going in, my favorite character was Atom, but as the series progressed, it quickly became Captain Cold. Another example is Heatwave, who was always very one-note in the Flash, in my opinion, became much more fleshed out in this show. Rip doesn't do too bad in the character department, but probably could've been done better. Only character who didn't get much defining was Vandal, oddly enough, but I think the writers had problems with keeping him nigh invulnerable against the Legends, but still a character. In the end, he's pretty much only there for the premise to exist. Btw, am I the only one who felt kinda weird sorta half-shipping Leonard and Sara? I mean, judging by the fact that she dated Oliver after she had her intial thing with Nyssa, she's probably bi, but they focused so much on the woman relationship part, I felt kinda weird wanting that to happen...Even though it kinda did by the time it was too late. |

I'm with Dr. Kain: Legends of Tomorrow takes the prize for cringeworthiness -- and yet, we watch. Why, oh why do we torture ourselves?!

Agree to Disagree but i 100 percent agree with you about Felicity she is my least favorite character in the entire Arrowverse i wanted her character to die so bad when she didn't that sucked. She wasn't bad in the first and second season really but something happened to her in the 3rd i hope they bring back laurel and kill off felicity now! Felicity completely ruined the eniter 4th season if she wasn't in it it would not be good by any means but a hell of alot better! Why did they add her loose mother into the show anyway what where they thinking? They don't like felicity but they will love her mother WTF

Felicity didn't ruin season four, the writers ruined season four. She's a victim of their bad writing and inability to have Oliver do anything without being motivated by manpain. Killing her won't solve the problems with the show, which is the writing. Also there is something really disturbing about guys championing the deaths of basically all the female characters in a tv show.

It's a shame too because Arrow's fourth season started out really strong. Sure, the Constantine episode felt a little rushed, but was still a highlight of the season and the crossover was good. This season of Arrow also had some truly impressive fight choreography and battle cinematography going on, and it started out in a more light hearted, comic booky direction, that it should have ended up the best season of the series. Instead, the writers' let their balls drop off and they got scared of the direction they were headed, so after the mid-season break, they wrote themselves back into the same pile of crap they did in the third season. I've never seen a show go downhiill so quickly in just one season. Flash is the only reason I'm sticking around with Arrow and Legends. In fact, the crossover episode is the only reason I'll be buying the fourth season of BD.

Yes, but they wrote her to be an unlikable little twat that deserves to die. The moment she started to be able to walk again she just decides to abandon Ollie despite how much he comforted her after being paralized because he was forced to not tell her about his son. That was some of the biggest character assassinating moments in television history and they have forever ruined Felicity for me. As such, her character is just as bad as the writing team.

I too started off really enjoying season four and it seemed like the writers had learnt from the previous season and then it all went to hell. But she isn't. She is an excellent character, who was raised from a guest star to regular to main cast off the back of her actress' excellent performance and her popularity. She was also terribly badly written in season four, and killing her isn't going to change that fundamental problem with the show.

But all that is the writers fault, not her fault. You're effectively blaming a fictional character for actions male writers made her do. She isn't as bad as the writing team because all she is stems from the writing team (the actress' excellent performance aside). She is an excellent character, very poorly served by the shows writers. Killing her does not address the cause of the problem and all it would accomplish is removing the possibility of better writing for the character in the future.

My biggest problem with Felicity is the flip-flop that they do with her and Oliver's relationship. I'm one of the few people on the planet who doesn't mind Olicity, but if they're gonna do it, take a page out of Shia LeBouf's book and just DO IT! All your delaying does is annoy people, so why not just have them together(and there's no way they'd make Black Canary and Green Arrow a couple now even if they DIDN'T kill her off. The history is just too complicated between them at this point)?

Frankly, there is no reason for Arrow, or any comic show, to go beyond 5 seasons.
