GameStop just dumped a bunch of new Fallout figures in their "coming soon" section. Appears to be a mix between Just Toys figures, and products from ThinkGeek. Only a few listed as GameStop exclusives. Here is a list of what I saw:
All but the last 3 have decent pictures but none of them have descriptions. |

I'm kind of over FO4 by now but the replicas are some awesome looking items.

Kinda wish Funko had a chance to evolve the Legacy figures and get into some FO4 stuff.
These 4" Glyos figures are honestly just throw aways to me. I mean wow that shitty Photoshop with the female player character, it's hilarious. The replicas are cool but can't say I'm interested. |

....Ooof, my already small hopes of Bethesda licensing for more Elder Scrolls figures just caved in on themselves.

I always have to wonder at licensing choices like these. What the possible logic for choosing to give the licence to companies that cannot deliver merchandise worthy of a given franchise / property? To me, the Fallout Series is worthy of a Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. style line of action figures which can be easily customised with interchangeable parts and a plethora of weapons, all without losing the 'action' element of 'action figure'.
3.75" / 4" scale figures would be awesome, and yet there doesn't seem to be anyone in Bethesda's licensing department willing to make this happen. I think its a huge missed chance for the property. There are enough interesting character designs to furnish multiple series' worth of figures, and with certain companies being able to sculpt using digital assets it would be - I assume - a walk in the park editing the in-game models to suit the figures. Make this happen Bethesda! |

As most folks on this forum are aware, it ain't just kids that buy games and it ain't just kids that buy figures. And, as a kid, had Fallout figures - decent Fallout figures - been available, I would definitely have bought them. The same is certainly true of other kids with teh same tastes, I'm sure, and adult collectors too.

I grew up with 5 POA action figures in neutral poses, so these don’t disappoint me. They also use the Onell Design Glyos joint system by Matt Doughty, so that is the draw for me.

Why can't we just get some quality action figures.

Because you haven't finished helping all of those settlements that Preston asked you to. We'll take back the Commonwealth, one piece at a time... another settlement needs your help.
Seriously though, I want some good and affordable Fallout figures. The closest we've gotten to it was Funko's attempt and they failed to stick the landing. Their T-45d power armor was okay but not great, their Lone Wanderer though was pretty damn lame.

They should have given the licence to NECA or Mezco

Are there any serious video game action figure lines right now?
I have a deep need for that pipboy construction kit, and I already have a pipboy.

What are we considering to be "serious" lines? Just like a dedicated line for a game or something along those lines? If so, then I don't think there are any right now. Mattel was doing Halo but that seems to have stopped from what I can tell, to be fair though I was never watching it closely. The only gaming figures I can think of which can be found in stores are from NECA and McFarlane but neither company has a dedicated line devoted to a particular game, they only release a few or even just a single figure at a time usually and from a varied selection of titles (though I guess McFarlane may be stepping it up with their Destiny line). Maybe we'll get an actually dedicated line with Hasbro doing Overwatch.

I was thinking something along the lines of NECAs defunct Heroes of the Storm, or McFarlanes DEstiny line which I had just forgot about heh. So that's one, plus some colour tops. It's an oddly small number given how big the video game industry is now.
