The Quinjet is on clearance in the target here for $7.99.. I've been thinking about grabbing it just for display. I've been grabbing tech deck stairs and city sets for $5 a piece when I find good ones. I guess the Quinjet is just as necessary, but I just don't like it.. thoughts?

Well worth $8. I wish I could have gotten the Costco version when it was about that price after Christmas.

If you collected the Iron Man 2 line which totally kicked ass, you don't need anything from Iron Man 3. That's the beauty of it. They're just a bunch of repaints anyway. I already have an awesome Iron Man collection & won't have to waste anymore money.
So let Hasbro go backwards, I already have more than enough figures from back when they were good. |

I hope to see a Super Poseable release of the movie armor. It'll be the only ten bucks I spend on the line, I think. Just like Spidey last year, and most likely just like Thor this fall.

interested to see what ultron will look like IM & IP not particularly interested but if IP comes with a variant (unlikely) with war machine i might be a bit more pleased also still missing that iron man mark vii maybe it was scrapped dont know but wished it came with this wave at least although we might get unexpected characters that dont come with baf pieces perhaps source of picture i found on a closed forum on toyark , picture is from marvelous news website http://www.toyark.com/iron-man-3-wav...33/#post402042 |

That's true, with the exception of the new movie stuff or if anyone was hoping for more villains and a 90's modular armor. I would have liked a new Iron Man and War Machine for my movie armory but not if they look like this.

If the Legends wave two "movie" Iron Man figure is the mark 42 armor, I'll probably get it. I would have prefered a War Machine figure, but having both comic and movie Iron Patriot figures standing next to each other could be cool...I guess. These Legends figures might be the only Iron Man 3 toys I get. Only one I'm not really looking forward to is the Horny Man figure, though maybe I can either buy the leg it comes with off someone online, or buy it and then sell the figure...
I was looking forward to the "normal" 3-3/4" figures, but it looks like Hasbro hired Mattel in for that job...oh well, just means I'll have more funds for more TMNT figures, and for anything interesting Hasbro puts out for their Star Trek line...which I'm actually kinda worried about now...

also just generally im going to miss the best of the Hasbro movie the swappable hands gimmick i thought it was the best ML idea ever , okay yes you got those figures where you didnt need to but for iron man and warmachine was kinda necessary because it wouldn't damage the hand plates if you know what i mean :S Last edited by warmachine6; 01-28-2013 at 03:38 PM.. |

That makes 2 much sense, Hasbro is not understanding you, lol. All of us no matter what scale would love to see a legit Tony Stark RDJ figure made. Only Hot toys has made 2 figures completely unarmoured. The mech test version and the new version released for the 1M3 film. If they made the new Hot toys figure but in 6'' scale it would be sold out on preorders! but they won't so it makes us customize figures to make 1. I had to destroy a ML Professor X figure to make mine.

Which scale? MU just released the professor x figure which is sick looking, and if you look at glassmancustoms he has 2 amazing IM sculpted heads, he has the ML IM/Maria Hill 2pack headsculpt shrunk down to fit MU, and he has the RDJ Hot toys shrunk down head to fit both MU and ML sized figures, he sells them both unpainted casts for $10 and $20 painted. for ML figures size the professor x figure, or Movie stars dracula and a few other figures that fit the body for a Tony stark, I believe it's the Moviestars Harvey Dent figure that I've seen used before.

I know that. It's the general look of the figure I'm not a fan of, not the head specifically. I just like calling him Horny Man...
