Over all, I was happy to find this set in person, the price was just a shock to my system. I've been extremely selective with my collecting, but this set was on my radar for a long time. Hell, I was going to buy these two figures loose from a fellow Arker but that deal went rogue, likely due to missed messages. Anyway, I'm glad to have found them, their obscure presence in comics and their great story intrigued me.

Eh, Walmart tends to be more expensive than Target and ToysRUs in my area. For example, the MU 3 packs (specifically the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Heroic Age Avengers, and Classic Age Avenger sets) are $24.96 at Walmart, $22.96 at Target, and $19.99 at ToysRUs. Unfortunately, Walmart has the better stock at the moment - probably due to the higher price.
Quote:
I haven't been to Walmart in like 10 years so I can't speak for them, but I do know Target carries MU singles for like $11.99. The worst part is it's the only single figure I know of at that price. Their like Star Wars and shit are $9.99 and Turtles are usually $8-something.
Quote:
MU figures are $9.99 each pretty much everywhere I go these days, which is the same as Avengers and Star Wars. Although the Targets around me are charging $10 for G.I.Joes for some unknown reason. And I don't mean it's $9.99 and I'm just rounding up. I mean the shelf tag literally says "$10.00".

I'd be so stoked for that figure if I didn't already know he had the teeny movie body. Fuck. This is why Hasblo needs to make figures right the first time!

For the same reason no arker would swap me a solid Vision for my spare Wolverine. I don't blame him going Ebay prices, a fair few on here do it to others too. The same folk who usually low-ball others citing "hook-ups"

To be fair Wolverine isn't really a rare one, unless you're talking about the X-Force one...but to each their own.

I don't have any grudges with anyone brother.
I just happen to be the only one who will pay my bills, so I figure I need to do that, family comes first.

Yeah, it's wise to not assume everyone's just a greedy wank when they do such things. Sometimes people just really fucking need the money.

I don't think anyone was suggesting he lose money or give he it away. He bought an extra one for a reason though and I am guessing the person he bought it from gave it to him for cost or near there. I wouldn't get a hook up from the community and then turn around and flip it on ebay because it looks bad, but that's just me.

As far as getting hooked up, did anybody else who imported this set get it at retail cost. Grow up iceman.

I never said you weren't free to go online and try to get whatever price you want but it just looks bad the way you went about it. I know how it goes. I've sold off over $1000 in collectibles the last couple months to help pay for my families Christmas and the damage done to my car by a hit an run. This is supposed to be a community site and most us have help each other out a lot but no one is losing money.

Frosty, take care you don't get a nose bleed from that high horse. Seriously dude, I don't chill. You should stop this now.
Everyone else but frosty, didn't realize I was committing such a toyark sin, won't happen again. Frosty's Internet etiquette classes start Saturday. Better sign up early, or you'll look bad in his eyes!

Better sign up early, or you'll look bad in his eyes! You PM me and tell me to drop it then you post something like this attempting to insult me. I guess the fact that you've been on this site for four years and the one feedback you have is from buying, not selling or trading, tells it all. I'm a very laid back person and I did nothing to provoke the ragey response you gave.

Frosty, I'm bored. You hate me, you don't hate me, whatever. I can't change it, but I can stop. I made a fucking mistake, sorry. This back and forth is not what folks want to read. We are mucking up the thread.
If you feel the need to continue this, just send pms so everybody else doesn't have to read it.

That and comic War Machine were the first two I bought. At the time I only had Red Hulk and Hobgoblin from MU. Really got me into buying the 3.75" figures.
