I'm one of the idiots who paid $40 for the homecoming pack. Initial thoughts are that vultures head sucks and his wings are too small. Love the Spider-Man, since they made him scrawny compared to other figs! It's just that because he's kinda scrawny, the figure is not a beautiful Spider-Man fig. I'll post pics ASAP!

I still don't get how Hasbro could mess up Vulture's head so badly on this figure since every other figure did it right. Was their thought process along the lines of "well it's still a helmet, close enough" and so they just ran with it. I'm still gonna get this set but couldn't they have at least given him an alternate Michael Keaton head or something even remotely like what he has in the movie. It's not even a badly done helmet, it's just wrong.

Well it's not accurate but a nice looking helmet for those that customize like me. I see it of good use for a modern GI Joe General hawk with a proper jet pack, or a modern Rocketeer or even a Cobra pilot. Hopefully as it was sid someone will resize one of the 5" figure and problem solved. I'm even happy they gave a proper elbow articulation. From the first photos it seemed they skipped those.

Yeah if it was just some pilot guy it's pretty awesome but for the movie's version of Vulture it's pretty bad. I usually don't mind inaccuracies but this is just too blatant to overlook.

And just on the side note a pall here went on the hunt for these today. Seems some jack asses are swapping figures already. He saw one with a 5 poa spiderman inside and another with an MU Vulture. Someone grabbed these for free I would say.
Worst than this they refused to lower the price in the packages after my friend made them aware of the issue. As if someone will grab those for $20. Last edited by Grippen; 05-01-2017 at 04:59 PM.. |

I think that's just the early scalper prices. I think it'll go down in a few weeks or so.

Btw, the pic: Not mine, I should note. Search for #swapthefig on Instagram, and it should be pretty easy to find.

Thanks, Il Cattivo. Wanted to be sure I didn't lose the arrow when I opened the package.

Looking good, especially since you fixed his foot position.

I absolutely LOVED the Korvak episode of EMH. Think I might rewatch the whole lot.
Chair looks cool. Second to third week of May is when the 3.75" exclusive SDCC figures pop up on Taoboa. So don't fret my 1/18th warriors. HASBRO still wants our money. The sky isn't falling... Yet
