Well, the underdog wins sometimes. Rocky, Trump, Brexit....
Goonies never say die. Edit:I have JUST found out my local small hometown football team have travelled to Wembley Stadium and JUST won! The tiny team of HUDDERSFIELD TOWN will now be in the PREMIER LEAGUE. Next season they will play the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal. David has slain Goliath. It is as big as it gets!!! A true Rocky story!!!!!! My neighbours are going nuts, lighting fireworks and honking car horns...... you see, SOMETUMES it really does happen. We too shall overcome. 3.75" forever......

Also, I have that Cap as well I think. If I remember correctly, he came with the Quin-Jet or the six wheeled tank thing. Regardless, you killed it bro!

Sooooo do you guys remember last year when I started putting together an examination of whether Dwight Stall actually has a bias against 3 3/4 inch or not? I mean, I'm PRETTY sure he does, but I think some investigation to clear the air would make an interesting topic for a video(as I'm planning on doing some YouTube-y stuff, since there aren't a lot of 3 3/4 inch only YouTube channels).
Well, with SDCC on the way, and the time the first video of that new initative has been taking(it'll probably be able to go out in mid-June), I want to start a research trail again, but I need sources that can be accessed without any kind of account(screenshots work too, if they can't be proven as easily faked). I'm not gonna make another post about this, as even this one is kinda spammy(and mods, if you feel the same way, feel free to delete this post), but my PMs are open to links. All leads used will be credited by username. A timeline on MU prices for single carded figures is what I want the most for this.

Been a while since I posted but as people are talking about customising the 3.75" Homecoming Vulture, here's mine together with an updated Kaecilius using the Galen Erso head (sooner or later someone had to, right) :-)

I think he means those who weren't completely commited. I.E. All of th Legends fans who only got into it because the figures were better than Legends at the time.
A LOT of those types dropped the line after the articulation drop. Still got some dedicated double-timers, though.

I don't get it either... maybe we aren't "real fans" Quote:
Vulture and Kaecilius look great! I need to pick up erso for that very reason.... not sure how hasbro managed to give the kiddy 5" line and the 6" line and every other scale a proper helmet but not 3.75", hopefully he sports the helmet we got in some alternate helmet scene or something, otherwise it doesn't look avian enough. Also fekd up we didn't get an arrow for yondu. |

yeah friend, pseudo fans you know>>>fake ass people??? the type that profiteer off their fellow collectors, the types of douches that switch out figures and return them, the type that dont go out of their way to help others but maintain that they would? the type that dont spend the money to keep the line going! those types!

if people have to question if they are one of those pseudo fans, then perhaps they are! the legit ones know i dont mean them but know exactly what im talking about.even if what i say is a bitter pill to swallow for some its exactly what needs to be said to highlight where its going wrong for us. look the brightside to all this is the fact we have BOSSFIGHT and other lines that touch into the 3.75" realm also technology is rapidly advancing so 3D printers can only get better.and not forgetting those amazing customisers out there that create amazing pieces on commision. |

look guys i got into collecting through toybiz years before i discovered 3.75" MU.ive had nothing but great memories dealing with that community who i got introduced to via youtube, made some great friends including shartimus, boog,KJ Hulk and many others.i would love to say the same about the 3.75" community but why is it that when i need something i have to go through the 6" community to get it, why are many 3.75" collectors the polar opposite of these great people, why do many 3.75" collectors lord it up with their collections when their collections are peanuts compared to actual proper collectors who take a large proverbial shit on them?
ive gotten a small level of satisfaction watching these same people get run out of YT and FB groups with their attitudes but im heartbroken that my line is suffering as a result.they really did ruin it for the rest of us! ill leave it at that as far as getting it off my chest is concerned and try focus on the appreciation aspect of this hobby, hopefully my words ring true with some of you!peace and love y'all! |

Well, going to chime in with some pics to give you folks something to look at. When I started getting heavy into the MU scale I knew that I wanted a better way to display them besides using book shelves. While they are functional the recess is so deep figures at the back are always obscured, in shadow, and largely forgotten. Well, that just wasn't going to work for me, so I'd long thought about having shelves made to show my collection on display.
Back in those days I had no idea my collection would blow up into what it is now with customizing and all that. So, rather than buy custom made shelves which would have been more money that I would have felt justified spending, I made my own. I made these big to hold a large portion of my collection. The most packed shelf has 29 figures on it. I can easily fit in 11 more putting them shoulder to shoulder (up to 3 rows deep) to get an even 40 normal sized figures. The 5 tier shelf is going to hold my cosmic collection once I get another 6 tier shelf built to move the heroes onto. These only have 70-75% of all the figures I own since I only want certain things on display. The rest are staying in storage containers. Enough of my rambling, here's some pics! Closes up to follow... |

I do wish they'd go back to the MU heyday, in terms of putting figures out for public consumption, as not everyone wants to make customs. The "buy and collect" crowd is really getting screwed by Hasbro's business decisions. |

At some point they'll back off on 6 inch again and make 3.75 their focus, of course they'll probably start with core characters again, but those of us who held on to our collections will be a step ahead.
Unless I'm broke and homeless I won't give any of my collections up. |
