Oh yah for sure... my TRU has bazillion of the hydroman wave too (except every punk Rogue got bought)... just meant new stuff to look forward to in the coming year. I think this is the first time I am experience zero hype for anything 3.75" scale in a very long time... not even for Star Wars.

Got the ragnarok gladiator two-pack. Thor is small and that face is horrible, and gladiator Hulk is Nice but smallish. Thor's nowhere near the level of the civil war falcon, which I liked a lot. Or even the homecoming pack. I'll get a few for custom fodder just in hopes of supporting the scale though!

http://www.toyark.com/hasbro-sdcc-20...177733-page10/ Also can't wait for the ragnarok 2 packs. I'll pick up a mega man and iron man pack just because... I've never been a huge fan of the megaman game series but I know a lot of gamers love it. |

You guys saw the front page, yeah? HasCon exclusive reveals.... we are 0-2 for Con exclusives so far. Granted, there MAY or may not be more announced, we have yet again (as of now anyway) gotten the shaft again my lads.
I think they are "saving" the Thanos pack with NERF gauntlet as a big reveal. Or just chuck it out there last minute like they did with Pool Party Pack at San Diego. That could very well be all that we get. Seems to be more geared towards interactive games and such and family atmosphere rather than toy reveals. Quote:

Dropped again..... $5.85 per figure to your door. I saw it at TRU as well was tempted to get it, but I think I'll wait till it goes on clearance and if it doesn't then oh well. It's weird how this finally came out when the movie is almost out of theaters, yet they're kicking out the Thor stuff when that doesn't come out till November....street dates go figure. |

Luckily I don't really collect or keep track of vintage figures unless I really like them. Which, I do for of some of these figures. I might add them in to Marvel supplements section though.
I did find a good Moltar off e-bay though and should have him in a few days. Thanks for the comparison pictures they really sold me on the figure. |

Not sure if it's an enduring problem with the 6 inchers these days, but it's more of a general company problem as far as I can tell. Plus, I think it's fixable with a thumbtack and 3 kinds of paint.

I would love to get the new Drax from that set. Pretty sure that I am the only one who is excited about only him. The rest are a pass for me. If anyone is interested in just the Groot and Star-Lord and want to sell or trade Drax just let me know.

Its 8/1! Let the wave of derpy Enchantresses wash over us all!
@Name, I wish the ones I saw look that good. I think Stall intentionally told the painters to do this just to fuck with 4" fans. Someone fire that guy. Seriously though, can we get a painter to tutorial us on how to fix this shit? |

Thanks. Not bad. But it was 6" and he didn't talk at all about brush type, prep, and how to apply paint to brush. Seems he just had a glob on there.
I feel like 4" eyes are super tough to get right. I've done one set of eyes and it took me a couple hours of retries to get something I was happy with. There should be an easier way than tiny fiddly brushes. Like a pen or some kind of stamp. |

I know some artists use a single eyelash glued to a match stick as a Super fine brush. It would take several passes with that. They also make paint pens in .05 sizes or take an old dried up. 05 drawing pen and dip the nib in the paint and use that.
If you have a dental pick or plastic toothpick here is a tip. Make a "blob" and then sort of 'pull' the Blob to the corner with the tip. Should give you a proper lemon shape. Also, pro tip #2. If you are shakey you can do it BACKWARDS. What I mean by that is, fixed brush to something with tape so it is solid and can't move. Apply paint to tip with another brush.... Then with two hands and elbows on the table for added stability, bring the eye to the brush. Much harder to shake that way. In fact, bracing your elbow and even your wrist will always improve your restitution greatly and reduce shaking quite noticeably.
