More MARVELOUS JOEs just in time for the Black Panther premiere...
Ulysses Klaue aka Klaw: physicist, engineer, assassin, and arms smuggler. He's a custom combination of both Avenger Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Marvel's Cinematic Universe which explains why the sonic converter is on his left arm. It's actually removable and can be placed on either arm. I think stuff like bad sculpts looks MUCH worse on 6" but if they miss 1mm on the paint, its still close but on 4", 1mm is a lot bigger miss. Its not 100% though |

I believe the problem is that you have executives who know how to make money and want to make money but don't know jack about toys, then you get someone like Toyguru or Dwight in there with an agenda who convinces them he knows toys and who sets up a barrier between the executives and the customers to protect himself from getting caught for as long as possible.
CCC. I mean even if 3.75" was getting meatier waves there would be no way in hell I'd shaft 6" completely.

I can't say I'd remain 100% free from favoritism on 3.75"s if I were in Dwight's position but I'd do my damnedest to make everybody happy because it's not only the professional thing to do, but the right thing to do, and what my actual ultimate goal is.

I honestly don’t see 6” being our enemy as much as the kid focused crap, like the 5” 5POA shelf warmers that seem to rebrand every 5 minutes and never sell for retail, the 12” junk figures that only sell when grandma needs a cheep last minute gift for Johnny and she thinks he likes spider man, and the vast array of other happy meal toy quality “cosplay” garbage that I’m sure some asshole got a big pat on the back for coming up with a way to sell shitty Halloween costumes year round. I’m telling you it’s just a lack of effort on there part....

Agreed. While the MCU can vary from the classic Marvel look, they do make for a modern/practical update on their costumes. Plus can add a more tactical approach which is what I’m going for with these Marvelous Joes customs.

I don't. I like my yellow spandex and suspension of disbelief, and for the record, Klaw does not wear spandex, his body is solidified sound, which is why he was once absorbed into is claw prosthesis and why Doom was able to slice him up and make his body into lenses during Secret Wars.
CCC. The current states of two of my favorite properties (GI Joe and MU) allow me to blend the two. Customizing these Marvelous Joes scratches The Ultimates itch. Since the MCU borrows heavily from that version of the Avengers, i liked the idea of creating 'tactical' versions of classic heroes and villains. That is AWWESOME SAUCE, Creator! Totally dig the accessory add-ons! Quote:

Mother fuker... that is some bull shit! Have they learned nothing from the numerous “gimic” driven failures of the past? And why the hell would you put a 5” iron man on the shelf for 10$ next to your own 6” 20$ iron man that will no doubt be down to 9$ before it moves? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot? At least none of the stores around me will be able to stock em, what with the glut of 5” panther crap clogging the shelves. And they barley had room for that with the 5” guardians and spider man waves STILL not moveing on clearance! Damn hasbro, when you see the wall comeing just hit the gas! But hey in a couple years some lucky dumpster diver behind big lots or Ross is gonna have a field day!
Oh yeah #fuckdwight |

Nice customs by the way everyone, y’all are knocking it out of the park, if anyone at hasbro had half of your skills and imaginations we’d really have one hell of a toy line.

Digging those customs of Klaw and the Deadpool's!
The news about those upcoming 5 inch figures with Infinity stones is strange. Certainly seems like those will peg warm. But I don't keep track of the 5 inch stuff enough to tell if they really sell at any of the retail locations I've seen them at. Just an odd scale and gimmick. Suppose time will tell how that goes.

Yes, but who is asking for this line. I’d buy these exact same crappy figures in 4 inch, but who will buy this?

Guys, probably in this line we will have a 5.5" thanos and will be in right scale with 3.75 MCU. It isn't what we've deserved but, although the poor articulation, the Thanos will fit good with te rest of the other 3.75 toys from the other movies[/QUOTE]
Looks like ur right but he appears to be 7.5inche tall in the line but hopefully a better look at him later ... The picture is spoiler-y so I wont post it yet unless y'all want to see it/ dont care |

I totally agree with you. I'm still disappointed with the Black Panther line because I’d buy that exact same figures in 4 inch. It's a shame with the 3.75/4" collectors.

But I've never heard of anybody being excited for or talking about 5" figures specifically.
