as Long as they know the market they’re going for with a helicarrier, as in don’t make it so much a “toy”,as in no spring loaded missiles, trap doors, or launching plat forms or pre recorded sound and light effect garbage like the sentinel, I mean it’s 2018 for god sake! I did my taxes on my watch, and my car parks itself if you want an interactive toy put a seri or echo in that bitch so I can talk to it! And do lighting, but just have it come on and stay on. Let’s face it most of us who collect toys pose, display, or photograph, not so much smashing them together and make “splosion” sounds. So design a helicarrier for that purpose. Removable panels, detailed dio sets, and a whole 9’-10’ deck for display. Put in mount holes for clear flight stands all over it. Have aim-able LED lights for display lighting integrated in, maybe even incorporate some kind of wall mount system so it could double as a shelf. Gear it to adult collectors. Have hanger bays that fit Quinn jets and shield cars...

Broadside / Takara version. Haslab can now churn-out 3 of these for the TF brand alone. Marvel Universe can make 2 Helicarriers, movie and comic. Gijoe too can make 2 carriers, a new film version and the old toy classic. That's 7 carriers versus 1 barge. Jabba's Barge, can only make 1 barge.

Hopefully there's another way to re-use the Jabba Barge toolings. Add disco ball, laser lights, another band, and Haslab can make a "Saturday Night Fever" Barge.

Actually there are 3 Helicarrier designs minimum. The classic comic version with the big bay window up front. We got an homage to that in the movie in the view out from the bridge but it was not reflected in the external design. There is the movie Helicarrier and the movie Tricarrier. I don't know what the current comic version looks like, out of the loop on that one.

How big is that transformers carrier? It looks small, but without anything to compare to it’s hard to tell.

My Ditko-inspired Spidey custom. I repainted him and added the armpit web. Head is from a keychain figurine.

Of course, I'm terrible at sanding, so I didn't do that with my Venom custom.

Appreciate the comments. Nice to be able to share with people that appreciate them. None of my local friends care. lol Oh yeah, Spidey fans should enjoy the next batch... along with mutant fans now that I think about it.
As requested, a little later than planned. I put on the Dazzler head without sunglasses. Outback X-Men: Psylocke & Dazzler: Really enjoying seeing the customs from others as well. Last edited by Mordiganne; 02-26-2018 at 11:41 AM.. |

No customs here, and probably nothing too exciting for a lot of you, but my love for 3.75 has recently been renewed and so I’m just starting to put together a “core” Avengers team. Hoping to pick up Black Widow and Dr Strange next. Probably not the best time to be getting into this line huh haha

Marvel Universe custom #114- the Adaptiod. This is almost the easiest custom to do. The difficulty level nudged up a bit due to modification needed for the Boss Fight head to fit on the MU body. Plus 1 for the A.I.M. team.

Everyone check out @Hasbropulse on Instagram.
It just posted multiple 3.75 photos of Star Wars and even G.I.Joe! Looks like 3.75 is genuinely in their minds. Steve Evans' video says they need help with your ideas on super articulated 3.75 figures (Star Wars Vintage). Can someone post comments there, telling him MU needs to be a "Vintage" line; to help him support excitement in the overall 3.75 super-articulated scale? https://www.instagram.com/p/BfqubvGB...by=hasbropulse Last edited by Super Joe; 02-26-2018 at 07:11 PM.. |

^^How great would it be if good sales and positive feedback of this new iteration of the Star Wars Vintage Collection convinced them to invest a bit more into their 3.75 lines??
