I picked up 2 more figures Antman & Wasp. I'll put them on appropriate bodies when I get home.
Here is the actual figure. They have to be broken out of their casing and then the head just pops off with some force. |

Back during Ant-man, there were some knock-off figures that might have the perfect wings for this. And while I like the legs on this, the Vort legs might look better in that coloring to give the padding but remove that clunky piece on the official impact armor mold. So the legs don't look as over simple. The paint job is top notch though. *Edit* And in comparing it to the poster, your leg style is perfectly accurate. So really, the only way to improve it at all would be to find that sleek style with rocker ankles. Like to the point those minor things mixed to this, is exactly what I want an official Hasbro one to look like. Ghost on the other hand, needs trimmed Wraith armor maybe, or a new webgear armor and then likely still this body style to maybe a new lower waist piece. How loose is that minifigure head on GI Joe ball joint styles? Last edited by Snowflakian; 07-31-2018 at 02:52 PM.. |

This is about perfect. Only really needs the collar maybe sanded down tor remove the lines on it. But otherwise this is dead on perfect.

I did go through quite a few legs when trying to find the right recipie for this one and 1 thing I tried to do was make the parts I chose look more realistic and movie accurate than say using comic looking parts like the MU figures.. After seeing the other guys work I would change the wings. but really cant wait to add a helmet to this one and have it finished |

The other 2 I got were both Antman so I will need to go back and get a couple more to get a Wasp and try to get unmasked Antman and Wasp as well. I saw they also made Black Panther & Infinity War figures so I'll have to track down a few of those. |

Infinity War Domez figures have derpy faces that look too cartoony.
Black Panther on the other hand has some more masked figures that look great. I am going to try and track down a whole set. I guess Jag Toys wants my $$ more than Hasbro does... |

Ditto. Seeing Joes in stores made shopping trips worthwhile. Even if I couldn't find the new ones I'd always walk away with something awesome.

Would love to see what that Wasp head looks like on a 1/18!female body. Ant Man head looks compatible. And Pilk, what legs did you use?

Big Hero 6 is back in the toy aisle but in 6 inch scale. I had hopped if we got toys they would stay 3.75. I picked up armored Baymax because I like how he scales with MU and left the rest.

Thank you sir
I did go through quite a few legs when trying to find the right recipie for this one and 1 thing I tried to do was make the parts I chose look more realistic and movie accurate than say using comic looking parts like the MU figures.. After seeing the other guys work I would change the wings. but really cant wait to add a helmet to this one and have it finished Wish I could find something like that with rocker ankles though. But it does also make use of heads that are easier for what I need them for. Lady Jaye/Scarlett renegades are the ponytail ones that are easy to trim for them to fit helmets. I've got figure recipes I've been meaning to make once I can afford it. Not been cheap finding ROC Scarlett's these days or Wraiths for that matter, and the bulk of my to do list on customs use those. Really wish Hasbro could find a way to get those back to market, with maybe impact armor duke/ripcord, and the accelerator suits. Maybe iron grenadiers too and BATS again, as well as Alley Vipers and zombie vipers. It feels like 90% of all my planned customs circle around those. Even got a recipe for some human characters from transformers I want to try out like Minerva and Kicker. Now thanks to you, Wasp and Ghost are on that custom list too. And yet again need that same body style. |
