Bad news on the 3.75 front. Bobby Vala said he saw G.I.Joe future product and it doesn't look like its 3.75 toys (skip to 15:04 herein)

Good news. Mattel did a video of Jurassic dinos eating a Hasbro 3.75 figure. Just days later. They announced the http://www.toyark.com/top-gun-maveri...mattel-182411/ ! If you like Larry Hama and The 'Nam classic comic; we may get some really nice jets evoking its earlier era. In the TOPGUN film both Viper + Maverick's father reportedly flew F-4 Phantoms. Jets featured often in Larry Hama's classic Marvel comic The 'Nam,

RIP MCU Spidey I know it doesn't affect us as collectors since we didn't even get Far From Home, but it still bites that these already-rich-as-balls tyrants can't just make a deal that benefits the fans.

Yeah but Far From Home has already cleared a billion and is heading back to theaters.
Whatever, Into the Spider-Verse was better than any of them and made less than any of them.

Unfortunate for sure. I liked Holland's portrayal of Parker and was curious where he was going after the post credit scenes of Far From Home. Stinks for the MCU writers too as they likely plotted an equally entertaining sequel to both the third solo movie and his return to the next Avengers movie too. Guess he didn't make it HOME after all Hi, everyone! Bye everyone!! |

I did like the Spider-Man that came in the vulture 2 pack for homecoming... I’m hoping Sony is just bluffing and making this public as a bargaining chip. Marvel got raped when they sold off their characters for pennies on the dollar, I want Spider-Man in the MCU... otherwise we wind up with garbage like Apocalypse and the last Fantastic Four movie or the Andrew Garfield or Emo Peter Parker, pure rubbish. I think the last 2 Spider-Man movies were completely bankrollled by marvel studios and the box office went to Sony with the merchandise money going to marvel, talk about a good deal for Sony and their crap movies. If Sony gets Spider-Man I’m not watching any of it unless it’s free on TV, those dipsticks almost messed up endgame’s #1 grossing movie title of all time (F avatard lol) |

I hope if Sony pulls this crap they can just keep Spider-Man as a supporting character like they have done with the hulk. Last thing I want to see is an origin story especially one where Parker steals a chocolate milk |

A lot of places I've seen have said that it's not a done...uh...no deal yet. I'm guessing it's just posturing, and Sony and Disney will still come to some sort of agreement before it's all said and done. We can hope.

Not sure why everyone is blaming Sony for this impasse. Disney/Marvel was getting 5% of Sony's Spider-Man movies. Now, they want 50%. That's a huge jump. Of course, Sony's going to say "no".
But, negotiations are apparently still going on. One side asks for way too much, the other side says no, they go back and forth until they hit a percentage both sides can live with, and everything gets worked out in the end. Hopefully. |

BS Bobby Vala
We have Star Wars vintage, Hiya, Boss Fight Studios & Marauder Inc still. If they toy companies don't want to make 4 inch figures anymore then I just won't get anything. I will save my money for something else entirely. Then they wonder why people aren't buying toys like they used to! Me neither. This is just Marvel/Disney trying to take back their properties. They got X-Men etc back so now the bullseye is on Sony. |

Hopefully. “We hope this might change in the future, but understand that the many new responsibilities that Disney has given him—including all their newly added Marvel properties—do not allow time for him to work on IP they do not own. “ The audacity of saying that’s Spider-Man is intellectual property that marvel does not own, while technically accurate in terms of movie rights pisses me off, they have zero respect for the source material where marvel approaches it with levels of story telling that has never been done before. The coolest part of picking up a marvel comic to me as a kid was being able to see other characters cross over into different titles. Just my 2 cents but I’m hoping you are right Villano and this is just posturing... also would love some 3.75” figures but im with you goldbug I’ll just save the money for vacations and retirement lol |
