Well now DC has two different 4 inch lines. The high end Hiya Injustice line and Spinmasters new retail line that looks a lot like it would fit in well with Fortnite - highly articulated and ever so slightly cartoonish.

Thanks bro I have all of the showdown figures, and it is a toss up, but in the long run MUs are better. Shoulder rotation sucks on most but maybe i'm just a lover of articulation and that's why i try and combine the two lines to make a damn near perfect rendition. Thor is awesome but his lower legs are what Hulk would call puny. I gave showdown Thors lower legs to Bearded Thor and combined an MU Spider man with the showdown Spider man. Doc Ock modded with parts from MU Mysterio and cake topper tendrils.
Yeah, one reason why i still like Hasbro's classic Thor is that his legs were better proportions, particular compared to the ankles of Showdown Thor. Will post updates of my WIPS, got alot donw lately with it. |

Leave it to the MU Master Mechnic to articulate even his hands. Spectacular work, Creator! (i've gotten started on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 recently...X-Men Legends and Marvel Alliance games = good times ) Last edited by Sender; 01-02-2020 at 08:00 AM.. |

Got a link for these? I saw them on Aliexpress and thought they were bootles, ordered Cap and they said they were out of stock. I hate when sites say something's in stock but then tell me it's not when I order it -_-

Before I get to the custom, just want to bring up a few things I didn't show before.
First is a size comparison with the RotS Rey. Planning on using her for a MJ and a Ancient one, but will need to lengthen the legs. Then there is my WIP Gamora. Obviously not as straightforward as with Nebula, had to make a whole new neck for her as well as take a chunk out of her hair. I don't find myself going back to her very soon. Finally, a side by side pose of the first and last Spider-Man in this scale with super-articulation. Onto the custom, a list of what is already done. 1. Tape. 2. Basic color scheme aside from paint touch ups. 3. Sculpting. 4. Magnet. 5. Articulation scheme. List of things still left over. 1. Final Sanding. 2. Webbing I have to say, the most impressive part to me is the snading of the head form PS$ spidey to the best Tom Holland Spidey that I could. I basically translated my skills from my WIP for the Homemade suit's legs to the head. Used the homecoming figure as a reference for what features to sand in. Might go back to fix the head by adding a bit of thermoplastic. Last edited by Agemo; 01-02-2020 at 09:19 AM.. |

Ugh, Looking at your set up reminds me that despite all the figures and custom wips' I currently have, I actually don't have a proper display.
Just piles and piles of parts and half completed figures. More like a junkyard than anything. |

On my last note, I got the Domez heads for Carol yesterday. Out of sheer luck, I ended up with ALL of the the Carol Variants for the wave.
Good news for me, right? Well the unpredicted event was that, due to never having such fortune with blind bags before without ordering the entire wave, my sentimental self got attached and couldn't subject them to the brutal methods of my work except for a double. Will update that later when I'm finally at a good stopping point. Last edited by Agemo; 01-03-2020 at 11:57 AM.. |

Happy to see people creating! i've been working on a few Marvelous Joes to post but got sidetracked with some recent purchases. Among the latter is the new Aliens line from Lanard. i missed Hiya's Alien line but was able to pick up a few of their Colonial Marines. Lanard's yellow mechs make for AIM armors. The Aliens themselves look good but Lanard's Colonial Marines are very 5 PoA Chap Mei. i'll try to post some comparo pics in the MU Compatibility Thread. |
