we need this line to continue making 30+ figs a year cause this year was ugly production wise...
and they should slow down in making so many iron men, spideys and wolverines... we need more bad guys, normal and group characters!!! they can even start with a peter parker since they apparently sculpted his head on paperbag spidey... |

Pretty sure the rest of the Avengers, and Jarvis, took her up on it too. Cap in particular- he had a fifty year backlog... Anyway, I plan on maling that couch for my MU Kang from some bubble wrap and a clear stand.

That list just seems a lot shorter than it should be. And I didn't realize that the LUB figures were from this year. Why the heck can I not find a hulk one? I don't want one, but you would think I would see him at least once if I've found BP and BW so many times.

They really should re-release those LUBs with Avengers 2, but this time change the label and do more variety.
Like Avengers West Coast, New Avengers, Ultimates, Force Works, Avengers Academy, etc. That way they can throw in more randomness and people will buy more bases to get those characters. |

Nice battle scene dinofreak. Nice mixing Joe's with mu.
Tru was literally giving away those lub avengers figures last week. No hulk though but I'll keep a lookout. |

I read this post earlier and it got me wondering how many we had, so I used my time in a boring meeting to put together a list of MU 2012 figures. This is what I got. The top half is of either new figures, repaints, or molds with a changed part,.. basically there is something new about them. The bottom half is straight up repacks.
1) Kraven 2) Beast 3) Ult Spidey 4) Miles Morales 5) Beta Ray Bill 6) New Hulk 7) Scarlett Witch 8) Kang 9) New Punisher 10) FF Spidey 11) Baghead Spidey 12) She-Hulk 13) CP She-Hulk 14) CP New Hulk 15) CP Doom 16) CP FF Spidey 17) CP Mandarin 18) CP Silver Cent/Iron Man 19) CP Juggernaut 20) CP Magneto 21) Radioactive Man 22) Baron Zemo 23) Tiger Shark 24) New Red Hulk 25) CP Dr. Strange 26) Angel from TRU Gift Set ------------------------------ *Already released in other countries--wouldn't be shocked to see them hit US soil before 2013* 27) Professor X 28) Jubilee 29) Blastaar 30) Blastaar variant ------------------------------- Not listed above because they're pretty much straight up repacks, but still released in 2012... 1) CP Wolvie 2) CP Rhino 3) CP Capt America 4) CP Silver Surfer 5) CP Colossus 6) Ice Man from TRU gift pack 7) Apoc from TRU gift pack 8) Cyclops from TRU gift pack 9) Jean Gray from TRU gift pack 10) Modern Thor from Heroic team pack 11) Modular Iron Man from Heroic team pack 12) Loki from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set A) 13) Hulk from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set A) 14) Iron Man from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set A) 15) Modern Thor from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set B) 16) Extremis Iron Man from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set B) 17) Black Widow from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set B) 18) Ult Capt America from Avengers Comic Four Pack (set B) 19) Hulk from TRU Avengers light Up Base 20) Black Panther from TRU Avengers light Up Base 21) Black Widow from TRU Avengers light Up Base 22) Iron Man from TRU Avengers light Up Base 23) Iron Man (clear) from TRU Avengers light Up Base 24) Modern Thor from TRU Avengers light Up Base 25) Capt America from TRU Avengers light Up Base 26) Bucky Capt America from TRU Avengers light Up Base ..and I'm probably missing a few. EDIT: I may be wrong. What I saw was the "Sewer Clash" 3pk. I don't think this case packout is the same one with Anti-Venom 3pk.

i should have said then 60+ since i only meant the single carded. we always get two packs and box sets. as well as tru and a walmart exclusive (none this year). i was stacking my mu figures up by number and this is what i got:
series 1: 32 figures series 2: 33 figures series 3: 26 figures series 4: 16 figures none of these include variants. now you see what i mean... and the new wave with jubilee is starting series 5...

Well, to be fair, the line was brand new at the time so literally everything was a new mold or remold. The latter waves rely on redecos and repacks as filler, since any new molds are paid for by the profits from previous sales. For example, all those redecos, re-releases and repacks help to pay for the R&D of their respective molds and fund the R&D for future new molds.
While it may suck for long-time collectors, it's pretty much the standard business practice with most toy lines these days.

well if we go by sales then we are only gonna see like 10 new figures next year since they didn't have anything going for the mu line for like 6 months!
really wish they would have put out some big walmart exclusive figure this year like the last two. but since most walmarts no longer carry the line i think they believe the line is dead... |

I saw one as well at TJMaxx! The one I saw had 3 Movie figs. Two Spider-mans (1:black, 1:blue trim) and a Lizard. All 3 figures looked like ones that may also be single carded.
EDIT: I may be wrong. What I saw was the "Sewer Clash" 3pk. I don't think this case packout is the same one with Anti-Venom 3pk. Last edited by kdawg01970; 11-15-2012 at 07:16 PM.. Reason: mixed up 2 of the figures |

weird question. i haven't kept up with comics in over 13 years. venom is the black spider-man with the big mouth, carnage is the red spiderman with big mouth and anti-venom is the white & black spiderman with the not so big mouth correct?
just wondering cause people keep posting that there's an anti-venom in a 3 pack and i've never heard or seen any such three pack...lmk if i'm wrong here... only three packs i've seen contain venom in some different colors...4 pack contains carnage... |

Pretty sure the anti-venom is just a white repaint of Venom. Wasn't it only sighted in Australia or something? Also, what spider-man packs are there? I've missed quite a bit recently

Yes, the 3.75" Anti-Venom is a redeco of the Stretch Strike Venom mold. That 3-pack is a K-Mart exclusive. Here's a link to our news story and thread discussion for it:
http://www.toyark.com/news/marvel-to...n-3-pack-5955/ Also, for future reference, here's a pic of the Sewer Clash 3-pack. I've only ever seen it at deep discount stores myself: http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...ewer_clash.jpg
