I kind of lucked out with the 8 pack situation. I stopped by Walmart yesterday to get some odds/ends for a party I threw last night, but obviously had to check toys too. No more Marvel 8 packs, but as I'm walking down the toy aisle there's a lone Mandarin sitting on the end of one of the Avengers pegs. It was obviously torn away from the 8 pack, but there were no more 8 packs. I bet someone tried to steal or swap it and got cut short by the Black Friday activity around him. It cost me $6. If they had any 8 packs with him in there I would've bought it and used the other 7 for gifts or donations.

Any time. I have no problem buying figures for others as long as they're stored in my house
Like,.. specifically which one, or general location?? I live in PA, do you? Sweet pics, Kayo. Good use of bases there too.

Man, I went on a couple of hunts today and yesterday and I am finding tons of scarlet witch, kang, beast brb, ff spidey, punisher, hulk, 1st series hulk, sipder woman. Pretty much all of wave 18 and 19. But I have not seen anymore of the prof x wave since I bought my last bag head last Wednesday.
I also collect the disney cars and they released a new line with that non existent rip clutchgoneski car, I hit every store within a 65 mile radius and snatched every one of those bad boys up, ended up with 9. I am done for the day but these things are already selling on ebay for upwards of 65 bucks. I am going to wait until they are non existent again then put mine on ebay. |

Scalping is shitty at any time of year but in the run up to christmas it takes a real tosser to do it with kids toys and brag about it

lol, pathetic
I do the same thing with hard to find marvel universe, dont be made because you cant find them at retail, what can I say, haters are going to hate, lol And you talk about kids toys, all toys are kids toys, dont try to make it seem like collecting marvel universe is any more adult than collecting any other type of toy, I am a businessman first, anytime I see an opportunity to make a dollar I take it. I have many ventures and in this world nice guys finish last, I could care less if it upsets you that scalpers buy up all your precious little toys and sell them on ebay, I only do it with certain toys not all. I used to never collect, I only bought for my kid, but after being that guy that goes to the store to get his kid the toy he wants but cant find it because all the "ADULT" toy collectors buy them up, I had enough, so I became a collector myself but always buy for my son first, so, before I go to open up my shop, I hit the stores at open before the "ADULT" toy collectors can get to them and buy my kids toys, and whatever is left to make a buck on, I buy it all up. So dont cry about scalpers when "ADULT" toy collectors prevent most kids from getting the toys they want, how do you think they feel when they cant find there jubilee for their x men collection??? I dont scalp on common toys that kids like just that one rare figure, I usually always leave one behind. Plus I always offer up hard to find figures in the forums at retail, so what, I bought some disney cars that are worth more than retail on ebay, get over it. So go ahead, lets hear it... Cool it, guys. I'm not about to let this thread devolve into a debate about scalping (again).
Back on topic: I have to agree with Bad Moon about that Skrulls pic, Kayo. Almost like an 80's rock band pin-up. Nice job.
