you want to talk about regrets? I wish I would have bought the hundreds of IM2 figures I saw on discount racks for like 3 to 5 bucks at the end of the IM2 run. you could have opened up a chop shop and made decent customs of every armor imaginable. except the 90's cartoon under water armor with the bubble over the helmet.... I wish they made him.

Side note, have you guys ever thought about starting a petition to shake some unreleased goodies out of Hasbro? I'd pay twenty bucks on that Igor despite the lack of articulation on it. If I knew that there was a hope, I would totally make a petition. The problem is though is that I think I'm too under-aged to start a petition like that.

I'm actually surprised they never made the hydro suit seeing as how they could've easily used the classic gold armor buck and the red and gold armor head for it. just repaint the face to match the body and slap on a fishbowl. bam there you go!
I need to track down that toybiz hulkbuster because just two hulkbusters in my collection aren't enough. I need more!

The ramp and the platform are from a wrestling set. The cylinders are from collectingwarehouse.com but they're out of stock. The bases the Hulkbuster and Thorbuster are standing on are from Titanium series Transformers.

but why go through all the trouble of making customs when you can just buy the assemblers? you make it sound like sculpting and painting are easy to do. not everyone can do them.

@UrsaMagnus
Absolutely love your Tony Lab and all the careful attention to detail you put into the accessories and layout. Nice, you even have a Jocasta, just noticed. What did you use for the Armor's tubes? |

Thanks for the compliments. I used to have this in a much nicer and more organized configuration but space constraints have sort of compressed it more than I'd like.
And I'm glad you got the Jocasta reference! When I saw that Cortana figure I knew she'd make an ideal substitute Jocasta. The tubes are from the collectingwarehouse.com website. Unfortunately, they're sold out and have been for quite some time. I'd love to get more myself for the other armors but they've not restocked them for literally years. EDIT: Checking the website, it looks like the ones I got are still out of stock but they've got something similar to them now located here. Also, there's a multi-chamber display located here that would work pretty darn nicely. I may look into getting a couple of these myself to replace the tubes. Two of those chambered units would house all my current armors (I've got 47 at last count). Last edited by UrsaMagnus; 10-09-2015 at 07:19 AM.. |

I think a Mark 2 makes a fine base for an Iron Patriot, and it comes with ready painted lines you just have to paint within.

the sculpts on the assemblers imo are already great so articulation is really all they're lacking.
not mine, but here's starboost with added articulation Ghost Armor Iron Man Custom Action Figure

As much as I hate to admit it, I REALLY want the new Captain Marvel figure. Guess it's the costume(the only thing that doesn't work for me with it is that stupid Mohawk mask).

I wanted this figure back when they announced it at SDCC and I am very glad that it doesn't have that stupid mask, I know that they showed the comic pack version will have it but I'm happy that this one doesn't. I'm eager to see more of the upcoming Vision, I like that it's the Jonas version.

Seriously though, I'd rather have the head packed in as an option, but that's expecting too much. On another note; doesn't her jaw look a little weird? |

Thanks @DarkToyLord!
While we're on the topic of Tony's lab... I just cleared out my local Ross stores of their Hall of Armors. I picked up 6 in total for $5.99 each! And the first thing I did with them... "Like what I've done with the place??" One arms dealer's nightmare is this mercenary's dream. |
