Not digging that Cap at all, looks off. And dislike that the boot cuffs & glove cuffs are movable will get real annoying real quick.
Want the rest of the wave bad though, will probably pre-order the set w/ BBTS. |

Thanks Mark. Putting Elektra with the Hand ninjas is cool. I got a bunch of them now since mixing them in with the GI Joe ones. Rhino looks great too. Is the articulation on him hindered a bit since he has less articulation?

Like out of nowhere the Walgreens 5 mins away started carrying some MU for the first time ever... and I actually found Nova there (they also had 1 Xavier and 2 Hercules). I didn't ever think I would even see a Nova... even at 16-20 bucks mark up he sold out at both my LCSs. Nova looks so cool, I don't even know who he is... I just like him cuz he looks so cool (especially in flight poses). Gonna read up on him ASAP though; hopefully his story is as cool as he looks.

Start off by reading annihilation wars. Really great character. One of my favorites. So glad mu did him in the nova prime armor too (don't worry, you'll know about the nova prime armor once you start reading up on him).

New Cap uses Jim Lee Cyke body. He has new head sculpt, belt that is a seperate piece, wrist artic. at the actual wrist, bigger flaired boots, and not mesh/chain mail details on costume as well as no star on back. I will say this about him though as Cap is one of my top 3 favorite Marvel heroes, despite hating the Jim Lee Cyke mold this is now my default Cap. I really didn't even want him and now I can't stop playing with him LOL. Oh and shield is basically one of the strapless red/silverish ones we've gotten before. I think it was with Bucky Cap.

Agree with you there, I have that one preordered on BBTS but hopefully retail does get these, there is some hope considering I've seen bits and pieces of the Nova and Prof X wave. Just not quite consistent. |

Well Exodus as for my area the last wave I've really seen hit was the one before the Beta Ray Bill wave.

Marvel Universe 2013 Wave 22 Black Costume Spider Man New Packaging in Stock | eBay
so... is anyone else slightly pissed that it looks like were getting straight up re-packed figures from early in the line just re numbered and put in "new packaging" minus the stand, and there re-numbered! seriously Hasbro if you'd like to just come to my home and bitch slap me that'd be fine! why even make a numbering system? |

Looking at the repacked figures it seems all of them are repaints with slight differences.
Iron Fist is a green repaint of the white series 4 figure Black Spider-Man is darker with a slightly different chest Scarlet Spider-Man is darker and lighter in different parts it seems and Silver Surfer's board looks slightly different than the original release |

Plus, I actually still need a black Spidey because I missed the Magneto SW pack and the single card one was too blue for my liking. |

On the other hand, you don't have to buy the re-released figures - even if there are minor changes or new packaging. It is great that Hasbro seems to be thinking of the new collector or kid who just got into MU due to a movie or whatever, but it would make more sense if they added some articulation to the Black Suit Spidey or a new body for Magneto or something a bit more substantial. For Patriot, they could have added the variant head. Any of these things would have moved these sets very quickly.
For me, I'm pretty happy with the old Showdown Black Spidey figure. It has nice articulation and isn't too big. Since I'm an opener, I can pass on these.

If you have a Detolf case, I would go with smalljoes. I have bought both. The smalljoes ones are a lot taller and to me, more useful if you have a Detolf. They are a bit fragile, and feel a little thin when you crack the box, but I've had zero issues with it supporting various toys and other collectibles. Also I had to chop off a few inches on side of the Interdesign ones I bought in order to fit into the Detolf. Despite using a bandsaw and sanding and trying to make it look clean, the Interdesign one just wasn't working. The side to side width is *perfect* for Detolf cases on the smalljoes risers. The interdesign ones Ultraman Zoffy linked to are smaller, 10" wide, and will leave a 2.5 inch gap on either side of the shelf (which can be a lot of lost room in 3.75 inch land). I've had both break while being shipped. Smalljoes sent replacements in the past very quickly (within 5 days of notice) without issues. It was a real pain to return the Interdesign one that broke (but that just might be where I bought them). The big thing with 3.75-inch figures and the Detolf is the shelves are way too tall. To use any risers and cram "as many as you can" into the case, you're always going to have a top-ceiling gap, and it's a question of how much work you want to do to have a clean display. Many collectors of 3.75 and other smaller toys will have new glass shelves custom cut locally, and buy or make small metal brackets which will hold the new shelves at the desired heights. If you plan on raising the shelves (buying new custom glass shelves, metal brackets for raising the heights of each shelf, etc.) then I'd say get the InterDesign shelves and cut them to fit- you're already doing a lot of work, why not go the extra step and maximize your shelf space and make it perfect if 3.75 is all you collect? If you have a Detolf and are just leaving it stock, or collect a variety of things, I'd go with the Smalljoes risers. Sorry for the long message and hope this helps- when I confronted this, I had to buy&try so hopefully this will save you some headaches |

Just wanted to add my experience, as when I was confronting this a few years ago, there wasn't very much info about this topic.

I only thinking of using one or two shelves on one detolf for 3.75" guys anyway. Might get some risers for my main bookshelf displays too. Might have to custom build those though.
