Agreed, was so sad when I heard they weren't going through with it in production.
Also dang it, how come HTS pulled that wave down ugh...this is why I'm almost tempted to getting out of collecting the 3.75 stuff. Sigh. |

They'll probably put them back up later. They should do it now though, a lot of people aren't happy with the price hike in retail stores, and they would get way more business selling them at $10. Hell, I never once saw Ares at retail, and happily bought him from HTS when I found out they had him.

I really like how Rick Remender handled Wasp in Uncanny Avengers, it's a shame she isn't in the new line-up and her new (or rather ex- now I should think) husband went totally nuts and kidnapped her.

Nice pics ursamagmus, and everyone! Let's keep em coming! (Club's goin up on a Tuesday BMorr)
I'll have to give EMH another try, never could get into it that much for some reason. The episode where vision tries to steal caps shield was cool. Here is what the quasi ball joint (?) looks like on beast. If you pop his head off he can kinda look up. |

Found Bishop at the Disney store!
I reckon he's gonna be the Wasp of this wave in terms of being difficult to find. Bit of a landmark moment in my collection though, in 2009 I made a list of all the characters that I wanted and they have all been ticked off. Sadly additional names have been added to the list since........ I echo the comments on EMH and Wolverine and the X-Men being cut down in their prime, Avengers Assemble and Agens of Smash are just a complete load of bollocks in comparison. The last time the stores in my area got any was the Last wave of MU that had Aurora and Black Knight. getting kinda worried cuz I went to the store today but didn't check cuz I'm getting used to finding nothing but Marvel Select and Star Wars Black series pegwarmers :/ |

Those pics are great!!!! Your Mandroid shot wins the internet for.the day! Nice armoury as well, dig that they are lit. Got me wanting more now........ Even landed a PROVOST APPOVES award. Also, good job on posting that ball joint neck on Beast Kernal. I know everyone has been wondering about.

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen!
And Samsson, I used part of the bridge set from the Enterprise line with the Captain's chair removed. The armor is being held in the table from the Target Star Wars pack with Darth Vader, while the tools are just 1:18th scale garage tools I got online. And that NOW! armor is actually a custom I made. I used the red-and-gold 5 POA figure and repainted it. Naturally, after I did that they released an official version, but I never found it so I'm good. |

The floor mat for the Playmates(?) Bridge set? Truthfully I've never used it. It seemed fine but since it was folded up in the packaging it was terribly wrinkled. I typically just use either the natural wood of my shelves for flooring (such as in my Avengers Mansion setup) or printed out floor textures (as in the Mandroid scene).

so I finally got around to redoing my MU room, and I have to say that the various sizes and shapes of the packaging are a pain in the butt! I reengineered all of my custom shelving, and a lot of stuff was a pain to shelve properly. especially oddballs like the Target boxed two packs, and that Damn infinity gauntlet set. and why the hell are the shipping boxes on all of the single packed exclusives different sizes? it's freeking irritating! at least the four six packs are the same size. and I'd like to thank Hasbro for completely changing the sixe of the individual card!

1000 yeah! I do open, I just also have a 100% (minus white T Luke, and the infamous Natasha twins) MIP collection finally complete! my only complaint is that when you look over the relatively short history of the collection the packaging it looks like it was designed by a spastic child with sever ADD. there is very little cohesion or uniformity in size and shape. I'd like to take also moment to thank everyone for reading 1000 of my generally mindless ramblings, thank you ladies and gentlemen.

This drove me crazy too, but it makes sense because the bubbles are all different sized depending on the character. Like Archangel has to have room for his wings, but I think Doom and Logan are the same if im not mistaken. Don't get me started on Fury, as there is no way to diplay that figure in Package...

The boxes for archangel and old man Logan are the same height, and the art is displayed horizontally on the box. Doom is presented vertically and his box is an inch taller. the depth varies on all of them, but that doesn't bug me as much as the height. plus the Con exclusives ( Compound Hulk, AOT Thor and WW2 Cap and B&W Cap) are all over the place! and Nick Fury, that is just a cluster F, I don't know why the hell they didn't card him? I like the Shield symbol box but the display try is just ridiculous.

Was just thinking about the upcoming SDCC display this year. Hope it ties into Avengers Age of Ultron a bit. Also, after watching AoU trailer 3 I am actually excited to see the 5 poa Ultron movie figures. If they go as cheap as Chitauri do on Chinabay I would snatch up a lot of th I think.
Did you guys see the new trailer #3?

I want a closer look at that Ultron throne. I liked the character reveal at the end!!!!!!
