most of the stands i see here are the ones that MAFEX includes with their figures like this. Figuarts also makes a dynamic flight/figure stand that is a lot like this but square |

Beautiful. The stand, not the figure. That figure has to be the worst figure that Hasbro has released. *Vomit*. I hope a redo in the next x-wave or two....he's embarrassing.

I also have NECA's stands, but have yet to crack them open to give them a whirl. Those can be found at most TRUs though. |

I only picked him up for the wings- Banshee is one of the reasons I hated Hasbro so much when they took the line over from Toybiz... I mean I really really hated Hasbro for that and even have a letter in Toyfare deriding them for their shit figures and terrible yellow paint apps.... So Banshee was fodder bin bound when I gave him another shot- he really has a decent head sculpt- he just needs color: to his fleshtone and his hair and even the pale yellow on the suit.. I may even darken the green... but just with some color (...and a new collar) he is a much much better figure.... when his new wings come in I'll post him again with the rest of the team...

Wow, what is wrong with that Banshee toy? He looks so disproportionate and lanky. Also, I know he is screaming, but his jaw looks way too long.

If anything the gorilla arms are often caused by the fact that many of ToyBiz's figures had articulated fingers and hands, forcing them to be sculpted larger to accommodate that articulation. |

I would take the clean look of modern Marvel Legends over a good deal of the Toybiz era figures. I collect more figures today than I did back then, because so many were so ugly. Bizarre looking limbs and shoulders, deformed hands with pointless finger articulation. I think they have found the right balance with articulation and sculpting.

I'm glad i have my Toybiz ML but I am looking forward to upgrades of them from Hasbro, for the most part. In the meantime I'm good. As far as what's better or worse Hasbro or Toybiz I think using Banshee as a marker point for Hasbro is where it can go wrong. It was like using Toybiz's Rogue as a marker point for Toybiz production.

I agree with Toybizs articulation looking wonky. Same thing with their TNA wrestlers. The round ball looking hips are the most unappealing thing. The finger and toe articulation is largely pointless too IMO.

I honestly think that most everything Hasbro is doing with Legends is exactly what Toy Biz would be doing with the line if they were still around today.

I have exactly one Toy Biz ML, and that's Nightcrawler. Because he's a character that needs that level of articulation.
Otherwise, I have yet to see a TB figure that beats out the Hasbro counterpart. A lot of articulation-over-aesthetic decisions combined with some really boggling deco/texture choices (*coughCAPTAINBRITAINcoughWONDERMANcough*, and everyone apparently needed varicose veins) leave me feeling kinda cold towards the majority.

Or the select one. The only place i recall seeing that colossus outfit was in the game xmen destiny. Though i havent picked up a comic in over a decade so it may have been in the comics at some point.

yeah- I don't discount any figure based on who or when it was made- to me it's all about what looks best for my shelf. Sometimes that's hasbro, sometimes Select and sometimes Toybiz... whatever makes me happy

It was in the mostly forgettable time period of 2010-2014...X-Men (adjectiveless vol 2) and Utopia to around the time the first run of UXM ended.
