----------------------------------- Unrelated: who else thinks it's very likely that one of the two BAF for the Avengers waves (assuming there will be two waves if not more) will be Lockjaw? Given that he's about the only thing with positive word from the Inhumans series thus far, I think it's possible. They know we've been dogging them for a lockjaw for years now. It would be...inhumane not to give him to us. Last edited by Captain Nash; 09-16-2017 at 03:06 PM.. |

in relation to your inhumans comment, hasbro seem to be doing very little with it, i reckon if marvel made it as a movie rather than a series it would be better, giving them a whole wave.
Medusa being a walmart or walgreens exclusive and black bolt being part of black panther wave. I really doubt we shall more of the inhumans , unless they are going to treat them like the fantastic 4 , but lockjaw i think kinda has to be a BAF for him to be the right size, or be part of an con exclusive figure. |

But you're right...I'm not sure how far Marvel is going to go with it. The "plan" to replace the X-Men with Inhumans in the comics failed spectacularly, and the show is just about the first thing I've seen from the MCU that has gotten bad reviews..been a few with tepid reviews but this has been outright negative. |

I wouldn't be shocked to get Crystal in an Avengers wave or even as part of the Walgreens FF stuff

I imagine if Black Bolt and Medusa do well enough Hasbro will do more Inhumans. It'd be easy to slip Crystal into an Avengers wave.

I'm an Inhumans fan and I would love to see Karnak, Triton and Gorgon eventually. Lockjaw is a must as a BAF.. He's drawn as fairly massive in the comics. I do feel Crystal will be seen in the FF or Avengers line.
Of course I'm a bigger X-men fan and I'm glad for the reveal of the rest of the figures. I'm pumped about Madrox and Sabertooth!! Last edited by Starlord67; 09-16-2017 at 05:25 PM.. |

So take this with a grain of salt... this was just posted on Marvelous news FB page. The supposed remainder of figures. Sounds semi accurate. I just don't see where gladiator fits in with the a X wave especially only time I saw him was in a few episodes of the 90s X men cartoon.
You must have never read an X-men comic in your life if you don't know that Gladiator & the rest of the Imperial Guard made their comic debut in their comic back in the mid-late 70s. Does anyone here even read the comics or are all you know about these characters from what you see in cartoons & the MCU? gladiator was already released for a SDCC release i believe 3 years ago. Also NO,i never read any 70s era claremont X-men run. However im fully aware tge whole story arc. Last edited by donmeca2020; 09-16-2017 at 07:13 PM.. |

Note, that the supposed remainder of the figures are based on Amazon listings, so I'd say there's a fair deal of credibility to them.
Marvel Legends Magneto Action Figure Marvel Legends Sabretooth Action Figure Marvel Legends Multiple Man Action Figure Marvel Legends Gladiator Action Figure I'm wondering if Hasbro will attempt the Classic Sabretooth or the more recent Axis/Hero Sabretooth. |

Normally I prefer classic outfits, but I kinda like Magneto's Marvel Now costume.

While i value your opinion and your fondness for bronze age Marvel comics, the fact of the matter is Gladiator would have been better in GOTG wave.. i feel he's a wasted slot for a good X character.....yes of course i've seen the whole Phoenix saga when they made the cartoon version back in the 90s. gladiator was already released for a SDCC release i believe 3 years ago. Also NO,i never read any 70s era claremont X-men run. However im fully aware tge whole story arc. To note to the comment you commented to (which should be noted was not from Boy Blunder, he was commenting on it as well, I have never understood the judging of people's being fans by what stories they've read, how long they've read or what characters they do or do not know.....if you read and like what you have read and know, you're a fan. What you haven't read and don't know about doesn't devalue that at all - which isn't to say that people can't recommend them to you, just that it's not needed to get all judgemental about it. I'm a 30 year reader of Marvel comics, but that's mainly been X-men and Avengers. Only recently have I gotten into the other corners, Spider-man and Daredevil mostly. So there might be characters and stories that are A list for those corners, that I may not be aware of. It doesn't negate my years of reading other stories. |

while i agree he'd have a better fit with Cosmic characters. I don't give a crap what wave he's in...I'M GLAD we're getting him. I've wanted that figure, but of course...the price was always a factor.

Not that you have to or anything but I highly recommended reading the phoenix and dark phoenix saga. It's pretty classic. Not that not doing so doesn't make you any less of a fan or anything. Gladiator better be a re-release of the SDCC one. Not a re-painted one. Classic Mags with a non helmeted version as I believe a removable helmet would look bad & probably be loose fitting. Rather they just make a sculpted helmeted version & non helmet head. Sabretooth will most likely be a Jim Lee version which I'm cool with considering the TB version was aweful, too big & floppy & over articulated with all those big claw hands. The TB version of the 1st app classic version is still the best version which I own. The modern Sabes that Hasbro made is cool as well. So either a classic version or a revamped Jim Lee version will suffice.
As for those whining about my comment to Donmecca2020, oh well. I'm a NYer, we're blunt. That's how we roll. No lefty snowflake here. |

Politics have nothing to do with this. That's a whack and common 2017 excuse. How about instead of putting people down because they don't know about something, you help build them up by pointing them in the right direction. We're all here because we have a common hobby. Marvel Legends and other figures are what we love and spend our money on. No one comes here to be put down because they don't know the 100 percent full details of an Arc. Help them out and maybe they just might see things a little different.
