Good eye on the cowl, I didn't notice that. I could see Silk being reissued with a new costume, due in large part to the astronomically high (in regard to character popularity/knowledge) resale price...

This feels a bit cheap with the Fan Vote... Let's get our fans to vote on a previous character that we've released before... 100% with the same body mold...I know they're pricey on the after market and hard to find.
Previously they had 1 to 4 images of characters in their comic panels i.e Symboite Spider-man, Darkhawk, Angela , and Mysterio. Angela and darkhawk were released in the same wave and the over 2 later on. With no silhouettes of action figures, so they can start fresh and make it unique. I hope these images are place-holders , and the hint is they are all female characters...but that's just me dreaming. |

Kinda hoping those are just placeholder images.

I like the Silk character, so I honestly wouldn't be disappointed if they gave us a re-release of Silk in either her white outfit (similar to the last figure, but with a largely reversed color scheme) or the web clothing look she first sported...though I can imagine that one would require a bit of new sculpting, and would probably be deemed too sexy (despite her being almost completely covered) henceforth, we'll never see it.
I can remember the original version being difficult to find, as that wave was poorly distributed, and Cindy is one that I honestly wouldn't mind seeing again on shelves (provided she's in a different look so I have an excuse to pick her up again!) Just as long as it's not that horrible look from the Clone Conspiracy cover. |

Is this an original character you made up? She looks amazing.

@harbinger..no she's from early X-men issues. She is the assistant to Arcade. Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.

They might be, but Sif having Angela's sword and a sheath that she didn't have in the A-force set might mean these teases are straightforward.

Yeah, starting to think that this year's "Fan Vote" is just basically a poll for the next "Fan Exclusive" figure, which have been primarily repaints of characters like the Cowboy Logan, Big Time Spidey, Camo Punisher, Agent Anti-Venom etc.

Excellent custom, and now it’s a figure I wish I had! It also reminds me how badly I want an Arcade figure. Surely eventually, with how little tooling he needs?

I'm looking forward to both, but am considerably more excited by the grey 90's Tasha. Hasbro was very successful in translating that short hair look without making it appear too dated as a ubiquitous early 90's hairstyle. Both heads, from what I've seen, look to be very well done. I'd prefer the grey costume without the jacket, but maybe we'll get a few more Avengers with those brown bombers. I believe Dane, Crystal, and Sersi all wore one at some point. |

Oh course, how could I forget that loveable loser, Eric. Quiet as kept, that Roger Stern/John Buscema/Tom Palmer run was IMO one of the very best periods of the Avengers. Right up there with the earlier Byrne and Perez runs (I forget who was writing those) and the much earlier initial Buscema run (I also can't recall the writer early on, either). I'm not a big Avengers guy outside of those pockets in time, but those were some weighty and important stories. Under Seige alone saw friction between newly minted team chairwoman, Wasp, and ready made misogynist, Herc. Lol his stubbornness and unwillingness to accept her as team leader nearly got him killed and the Avengers destroyed. I love that story. Modern Marvel should take note of that era if they value organic storytelling, sans the pedantic and sometimes ham-fisted stuff of today. Not everything is bad, but I don't walk away from stories with the same satisfaction I once did. Anyway...I began reading just a bit earlier than your jump off point, circa 79-80. I don't know if it's been said, but that image that looks like Sif could be the new Jane Foster Valkyrie. I think she is sometimes drawn with wings, but I don't know if she always has them. So maybe her?

You are right. She is drawn like that. She uses a mace in the new comic. But that doesn't mean Hasbro stuck to that.

Here’s the GamerVerse Hulk. The fact that this is not his main look for the game makes me think we’ll see a second figure elsewhere. |

Is that the same Green classic Hulk buck? Kinda looks a bit leaner to me?
