I don't know. It seems like Hasbro keeps a pretty firm finger on the pulse of the collecting community when it comes to most of their choices, and I've heard very few people asking for Morrison era figures, but lots and lots of Giant Size and outback requests. Dawn of X definitely has some interest, and I think it would be smart to strike while the iron's hot, but I doubt it'll be instead of older looks. Especially since we're only really Banshee and Thunderbird away from finishing the Giant Size team.

And Dawn Of X, I do hope they go that route. I don't have a ton of wants but Cyclops, Magneto, and Storm in particular I would love to have. This though should be taken with a grain of salt, my heyday of peak comic level interest (despite ongoing with less enthusiasm) was late 80's to early 00's, pre morrison. The fact I want ANYTHING modern at all (outside of Avengers Rogue) speaks volumes. |

Honestly, aside from characters who had really "memorable" looks during the Morrison+ era (Hank, possibly Emma, among others) and characters that originated during that period, I'd be genuinely surprised if Hasbro mined those designs. Like I said, it would make for terrible visual variety on the pegs.

I hope Banshee and Thunderbird are right around the corner. With GS X-men celebrating its 45th year it seems like this could be their year.
I'm not a fan of the Xtreme or Morrison runs at all. I'd like to see some Space stuff like STARJAMMERS and the IMPERIAL Guard. I'd LOVE a Warstar BAF and a Fang figure. |

I could see him in a GSXM set, but outside of that I don't know. I mean, I'd buy him, but I'm not sure if he'd be too niche for main line appeal. |

Thunderbird screams two-pack or box set to me. I think they'll make him to finish that line-up, but I can see bundling him with someone more exciting (like Banshee). I totally agree New X-Men was a major milestone for the X-Men. I just don't think it lends itself to action figures as well as many other eras, and I think Hasbro knows that.

A brothers pack with Thunderbird and Warpath could be cool too, maybe as a way to get a gray/black X-Force repaint of Warpath out.

I said it quite some time ago now, but I think the best way we'd see the Starjammers would just be as a single team pack (similar to Alpha Flight but smaller) especially since there's just the 4 main members and I don't think any of them would be very appealing as single figures to the average customer.

For me, my X collection begins with Giant Size and ends with the Lee/90s figures.

Ahh, more X-men talk, I am not surprised. It's all coming, in doubles and triples even. Just like the Venoms, the X-men are loved by the hardcore and casual alike and represent instant cash. When Hasbro needs to prime the pump, there is no better vehicle than the X-men. After the X-men, in descending order, it might be Spidey, Venom, and the Avengers (opinions will vary, of course). The question becomes: Where exactly is the line for over saturation?

Speaking of X-Men...lol.
It's obvious Banshee and Thuderbird are coming from GS XM, but the previous X-men were also in it. I hope we get a red (or blue) new Angel, mini-skirt Jean, egg-whisker Havok and why not original Polaris. Heck even Professor X in normal wheelchair ( I am not getting McAvoy Xavier, just for the chair). And to top it all Kitty in her Sprite, Ariel and Shadowcat outfits. Recently re-read God Loves, Man Kills GN, which I feel has stand the test of time (except for the then blurry depiction of Illyana). |

With it being the 45th anniversary of Giant Size X-Men then a box set of Legends makes sense with FA Storm, Banshee, and Thunderbird. They might throw in Cyclops and Wolverine to please Target. I hope they show us some Outback love with Rogue, Pyslocke, Havok, Longshot and Colossus from that era. Also throw out Pyro, Avalanche, and the rest of the Reavers. Blob I am sure will be a BAF or Deluxe down the line. I know Pyro and Avalanche goes with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. In case someone tries to point out what I listed.

I hope Tigra is coming. I was bashed on another board for listing her as a want being told that they will never come out with her so I need to settle for the old one they did awhile back lol. I do have the figure but want an upgrade to today's standards.

Technically they're not the same looks, however they are very similar. The figure in the Abomination wave was based on more modern books as it was missing the belt, had red thigh and bicep bands, and the shaved down haircut.

Recently re-read God Loves, Man Kills GN, which I feel has stand the test of time (except for the then blurry depiction of Illyana). Yeah, man, it's ALL coming, seriously. There's almost no point in asking for specific X-related characters because the fandom functions as a natural incentive spurring endless trips to the well on Hasbro's part. I said the same about Venom and the appearance of ancillary symbiotes on fan polls. I made comments questioning their insertion into polls when we'd gotten 4-5 characters in one year, obviously, indicating that someone among Hasbro's decision makers was already well invested. Now we're looking at an entire line for Venom, and my prediction of nearly every symbiote seeing a release is stronger than ever...at the very least, they are now largely absent from fan polls Once the MCU X-flicks start hitting, they will jump-start and already robust X-cycle, with each subsequent film creating another excuse to double down. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. How much do you really like the X-men? Cuz we're gonna see a whooooole lot of them in coming years. ...but don't let my playful ribbing prevent you from calling for whatever you want. I'm a significant proponent of screaming into the void that is the intertubes if only for the sole purpose of seeing what comes screaming back |

If I don't keep screaming into the void, how's Hasbro ever gonna know that I specifically want armoured Psylocke, classic Magik, Spiral, Destiny, Chamber, Dust, classic Havok, Senyaka, Armor, Longshot, outback Storm, Exodus, outback Colossus, black & white Magneto, and outback Rogue, in roughly that order? (:
