Nothing wrong with off topic. This is a great forum to interact at socially appropriate distancing.
Received a few new BW and non-Marvel stuff. I like the movie Taskmaster. The original Comic version is still my favorite. Knight of Ren is very cool for anyone who collects SW Black Series |

I would TRUST that Hasbro would drop a comic mandarin with the movie... but the Thor movies haven't really dumped a load of comic based Asgardians on us so I don't know how great the odds are there... But fingers are firmly crossed.

Beware the Iron Man by lowanbing, on Flickr I feel like we’re not getting that Mandarin anytime soon, but I would be happy to be proven wrong. |

As far as the release schedule I think they'll obviously shift movie waves to whatever the new releases are. Black Widow of course, a little too late for that. So whereas we might have seen Eternals product in Sept/Oct, we might see it in Dec/Jan number. Quote:
I think it is appropriate to remind people that they can order Marvel Legends figures online. There is no need to go to a physical store. We can all deal with the waiting. There are more important things.
I am really hoping Hasbro just delays stuff and doesn't cancel anything. The AoA wave should be fine, but I am a little worried about Nimrod and the Strong Guy wave. I do doubt that they will cancel stuff that has been revealed, but who knows what they had planned that we may never see. I also think that Marvel Legends is one of Hasbro's bigger lines, even if you couldn't tell that by looking at some brick and mortar stores. I think rather than cut away at their bigger money makers, they'll willow the smaller lines even further. With the Star Wars movies now done (for now) they may well really cut back into that. Marvel's reached a level of name recognition that Star Wars had 20 years ago, if not more. I think it's safe. So yeah, we'll see everything that's been shown and more, it just may be we don't see some of it until next year. Case in point. I think they were definitely alluding to and planning for a second A0A wave. It won't be the 25th anniversary next year, but my guess is they'll still have a wave for that. Too many big names missing not to. |

Honestly, I couldn't care less. I'm not going to sit in my apartment all day every day at all times. I am staying away from people at the store. It's not like I'm walking up to people high fiving everyone. Quote:
Frivolously going to the store is not necessary.

I hope you don't have anyone elderly or immune compromised people that you care about.
However, since I picked up RE3 at BB the other day, I don't really have a reason to go outside at the moment anyway.

Just to be clear, you don't care about taking precautions because the high-risk people you care about don't live in the same town as you, but if they did, you would take this seriously? Excellent. So everyone in Tuscon and Buffalo is cool to go do anything you want. If the people you personally care about don't live there, don't worry about infecting anyone. It's great that in times like this, we only need to worry if we live in the same place as our families. |

As someone who is currently living there...it's TUCSON...not TUSCON. Just saying...
I thought I recognized that kikoshou effect Bo...thinking I'm gonna dig up my Storm Chun now and give that a "whirl". Getting back to the subject of White Widow customs, I'm really not feeling this Black Widow headsculpt for Colleen like so many others are doing. I've been playing around with a couple of different swaps trying to find one that I feel works better, and after attempting about ten different headsculpts, I've narrowed it down to two, the infamous unmasked Silk head (which is already the go to for the majority of Asian female customs as is) or the newer Jessica Drew figure. I actually like the Jessica Drew figure more than the silk, as the skin tone is fairly close and the cat's eye makeup style gives it an Asian appearance, and it has a shape perfect for a hair swap, but there's one thing bugging me....the eye color. Just what the hell color exactly are Colleen Wing's eyes? The Marvel Wiki lists them as being blue, but I've seen them colored as brown, green and blue...all depending on the book or artists (They've done this with Felicia Hardy over the years as well...I've have often seen her with green eyes, but sometimes with blue as well.) It's driving me batty, and as much as possible, I'd most definitely would like to avoid repainting eyes as they are the weakest part of my paint customizing game. TP: Same on Colleen. Was looking forward to making her my go-to Daughter of the Dragon but in hand with Misty I just couldn't make it work. I'll stick with my earlier custom... maybe add a red stripe to the suit or something... (there would be a picture here but sometimes FLICKR randomly decides not to load a picture for an unspecified amount of time...) lol

I was actually thinking of stealing the recipe and buying some of the smaller scale Pacific Rim figures to make it, have some human-sized Sentinels haha

Does anyone have a good method of removing the hip from the ball joint on a standard female figure?

I never realized how much Gypsy Danger resembled a modern sentinel until I saw that.

EDIT: Wow...there are a ton of bootlegged Neca Jaegers floating around Ebay these days. Holy moly... Quote:
If so...using boiling hot water (I usually fill a mug and put it in the microwave for about 3 and a half minutes,) and letting the figure sit in it for about 45 seconds will get those legs to pop right off the average female joint. Though I'd be careful trying this with any figure on the Moonstone body mold, the legs will often crack and break before they come off. This is a QC issue that is common with that body mold. You can use a hairdryer of course too...but I found boiling water ensures the joint is heated evenly, therefore making it easier to pop off. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 04-04-2020 at 06:30 PM.. |

You could try the Robot Spirits versions from Uprising. They can sometimes be found for pretty cheap.

I loved it. Not as good as RE2, but I never expected it to be given that is how it was back in the 90s. Regardless, I've played through it twice already and am planning to go through it a third time next week before I head back into the world of MegaMan X.
Man, I would love some Marvel Legends-styled Resident Evil figures as everyone that has done RE figures in the past gave them limited articulation.

^ I don't like the Remake Jill's face model... she looks more like Milla Jovovich than Jill Valentine IMO. I like the OG Jill Valentine design best aka Julia Voth... I also like Resident Evil Revelations Jill Valentine too... and also Resident Evil Apocalypse movie Jill Valentine played by Sienna Guillory. RE3 was may fav RE game and probably in my top 5 games of all-time... so strange that I don't even feel like picking up the remake after playing the demo.
Also, that X-men action figure cover shot is awesome! What flight stands are those? |
