Sometimes I still see the walls open up and nuns come out like cenobites.
New Pyro will not be able to emote dramatically like this... |

Perhaps, but he also won't have balls for thighs, Sideshow Bob feet, and gorilla-sized hands.

Hellfire Club set arrived today. I finished work and took a few pics for you to check out.
It's one of my favourite sets, but I started reading X-men in the Dark Phoenix era. |

Edit: never mind, I see your next post - looks good on the Emma body too I'm stalking Ebay quite honestly. If I see a Buy It Now and in stock option for less than $200 I'm biting. |

If I can get a second set, I might put a Namor torso on Shaw.

Uuuff, last one. Sorry my internet is playing up.
Last thoughts. I love it. I wish they had included a Jason Wyngarde head. And yes, Leland would have been awesome. The boots on the girls are not accurate, but I like that they have new (how do I say that this) chests. A lot of love went into this box set. It's actually lovely on hand. I will repaint jeans head black to do Tessa, if/when I get a second set. And probably put a bare chest on Sebastian, to reproduce the fight he had with Storm. Epic. Oh, the ladies have a swivel abdomen so they get more range than it looks on pics. The detail on Jeans head is stunning, make sure not to loose her neck brace if you switch heads. I can't think of anything else. Brain turned to mush in this heat. If you need more info or pics hit me up. I'm off work for four days so I have a bit of time. |

They really put a lot of care into those figures sculpts, they look fantastic. Thank you for posting pictures. Selene's head looks great aside from the too much purple but that's not a dealbreaker. If anything, Shaw actually looks the roughest of all of them, and he still looks darn good.
update, thanks for the last picture. The head/and body are a perfect match. I cannot wait to get my grubby hands on a set some point soon. There's no way I'm missing out on this one in whatever way it needs to be. Thank you so much for posting! Last edited by Captain Nash; 08-07-2020 at 09:26 AM.. |

It's an absolute pleasure. I knew you were waiting. I couldn't find any decent pics online. And if I can I will help you find a set if they come to the UK earlier. Please don't spend too much money. I only pay package and taxes, but my friend got it for me. It is a dream come true for this old fan. Now Selene. I like the head. Her eyebrows on mine are a bit close ala Frida Kahlo, but I still love her. I kind of prefer her on the Emma body. The eyeshadow on both Queens it's a bit prostitute, but it kind of fits the theme. No way this two would be on general release. With Selene I tried the Satana cloak, but her hair makes her head pop off. I decided to take the silly shoulder pads off Emmas body. I like it just fine. Selene has had lots of dark outfits. Not often she wore the Black Queen outfit so it feels fine, almost as if the guys at Hasbro thought about it before. I wonder. Anyway, if the set comes on pre-order in UK before I will get you a set. |

I'm THIS close to Count Nefaria being my #1 wanted figure. |

frosted flakes! That’s totally a Sugar Man hint.
Wait....... For real though is that a hint and what could it be? NM. The cereal is not the hint. The tiger is. Tiger..... Last edited by Captain Nash; 08-07-2020 at 10:22 AM.. |

@captain Nash.
We have had a great Dearth of X-men. I obviously love the 70's/80's era but I appreciate other eras. Like I'm loving the AOA stuff even if I despised the comic. Count Nefaria was on one of the first issues of Avenegrs I ever got. John Byrne was my first superstar together with George Perez. So everything from that period I am mad about.. By now you must now my biggest obsession is Jocasta and Ultron. I just freaking love robots. I have a beautiful Platinum from DC, and Engineer from The Authority. I love all my Silver Surfers, hahah I guess I like silver! My ultimate goal would be to have the whole 80's Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe characters, which I devoured as a kid. But I'm not narrow minded, and I have been known to love a Miles or Gwenpool. I'm looking forward to Shilkah and Strong Guy etc. What's cool is cool. |

I love how we're making jokes about what the cereal bowls Twitter post could mean about August's Marvel Legends reveals. While we're playfully guessing with Sugar Man and Tigra in regards to Frosted Flakes being mentioned (I prefer Rice Krispies myself), I'll play along and could say it's the reveals of the TV 1 and TV 2 figures for Spider-Man. We know they're in the system, we don't know who they are, and what could be a bigger August reveal than a TV figure for a long-awaited Legend like Firestar? After all, which of us old timers doesn't remember waking up every morning and having cereal while watching Saturday morning cartoons? You know, back in the good old days when we watched our cartoons live on TV networks, when the Earth was still cooling and this hip new invention called the wheel had just been invented...
All (bad) jokes aside, I'm curious to see what the next Marvel Legends reveal(s) will be. |
