I assume they all have the bad hands, if they can be seen without opening? That's the only reason I'd want another pack. I mean, it'd be nice to have one Storm for each head/cape option, but I don't want to drop the money for a second if it's also got granny hands.

Listened to the Dan Who interview. There were some more teases:
- More army builders on Pulse are coming, and they've had discussions about S.H.I.E.L.D. agents (both men and women) and generic Skrull warriors. Dan Yun brought up Doombots as a possibility (I'm guessing reusing parts of the recent Doctor Doom). - There were discussions about Ghost Rider's car and Punisher's van in Ultimate Riders, but they said it's looking more likely that for cost reasons, they might be future HasLab possiblities. - They plan to do more 80th Anniversary/First 10 Years style lines to go back and hit MCU characters they missed the first time around (like Quicksilver, Endgame armored Thor, ect.). Dan Yun also said the year isn't over yet and there are still some MCU releases for 2020 (he may have been referring to the Black Order set announced today). - Figures from the Disney+ shows is coming and they've already been developed. There are also some characters and shows that haven't been announced yet they're also working on. - They said aftermarket prices on big characters sometimes influence characters who end up rereleased in the Legends line, like Kingpin, Beast and Rogue. - They aren't tied to any specific retro theme, so just because they've moved on to Spider-Man and Fantastic Four Retro waves doesn't mean they won't revisit the X-Men or the gray-carded Marvel Super Heroes releases at some point. - Ryan has been pushing for accessory packs like the ones McFarlane, Neca and Mattel have done. The worry is they wouldn't be appealing at mass market retail, but Hasbro Pulse was brought up as a possible outlet for them. Also one of the previous interviews yesterday they mentioned they are likely doing more Age of Apocalypse figures at some point, but they might not be getting an entire dedicated wave and may instead be in box sets or Deluxe releases. Gwenpool reigns as the champion of poorly planned double-packs in my experience, for half a year my closest Walmart had at least 12 of her. I've seen some different Iron Men and Caps stick around for a while but never in such volume and for so long.

Ah, that's what I figured but a shot never taken is a shot missed. Or something like that. Maybe they'll get around to redo it (probably not, unless she's rereleased somehow). I'll stop asking since it's going to be the same until (if) we hear otherwise and I'll try to carefully remove the paint. Thank you!

YES to Threnody for me to go with X-man!! Looking at those pictures...I wouldn't say no to a new Phoenix body on the Dark Phoenix buck with that head (with brighter red hair)

I'm surprised we haven't gotten a Vertigo yet since she could be almost a full repaint.

So, if they do a Retro Iron Man wave...
Am I the only one hoping for Hypnotia? I mean, it would make sense, as she was one of the only characters to not get a release in the original toy line... Also, hoping that the next full retro X-Men wave has Animated Series Morph in it. Please, please, please.

All these interviews are nice and all, and I plan to watch the Dan Who interview later, but does anyone know if any of the regular guys on YouTube who pass on Marvel Legends scoop are taking any fan questions for any other possible interviews this month? Every time these interviews happen, I always miss my chance to ask. Is Shartimus or someone else supposed to do a Q&A with the Marvel Legends guys soon?
Also, I'm glad they're doing Retro Fantastic Four and I'd love to see them go back to the old Marvel Super Heroes Retro figures from Toy Biz. I was bummed the Retro M.S.H. Toy Biz card was used for the Comic Con Exclusive Incredible Hulk, though. I'd love to see a classic green savage Hulk figure sold separately again, even if it's a Deluxe figure. We usually get two-pack pairings, exclusives or Build-A-Figures for our lovable Green Goliath. |

Bought some prints from Diorama Prints and had a blast testing them out today.

Venom & Copperhead indeed have the same hands as Tiger Shark, but they're different from Sabretooth's. Sabretooth's hands have long nails and a more flexed pose. You can see them clearly here:
