The Retro FF figures are likely gonna be the negative zone looks or something similar. Especially since that’s what they went with in the show.

Not to raise too much hype but Dorkside mentioned they are likely getting the new X-Men legends in the next week or so (per the Dorkside Toys Thread on Fwoosh).
Um, are there any other X-Men legends we're waiting on besides the HOX/POX wave? That's really early if that's what they're talking about, which is why I'm wondering if I'm forgetting something. Not that this is meant as a complaint, I'll gladly take my X-Men figures early. Always. It's just funny how far in advance things are shipping lately, we'll be seeing the 2022 product by summer and 2023 product by end of year at this rate. (and gawd, it feels so WEIRD to be discussing 2022-2023 as in next year and the year after that. We made it through 2020 - those of us that are here anyways)!! |

My Target is dumb. They put a ton of Lgends on a clearance shelf despite them not ringing up on clearance.

I just realized: didn't we get a Fan First Friday video or Live Stream or something where they showed old Toy Biz Marvel series of toys and had the caption "Decisions, Decisions..." under it? I remember Iron Man and X-Men Classics being two of the waves shown (I believe Ghost Rider and something else were shown, but can't remember what) and now we're getting a Retro Iron Man and Classic X, possibly X-Men Classics, wave. We also have the Retro Fantastic Four wave in the works. Was Hasbro telling us what to expect for 2021 and we didn't even realize it?
Also, I do hope these Retro waves aren't one-and-done one at a time and that Hasbro goes back to these later on to make a second wave of figures, like it was teased in a previous Hasbro video. |

I don’t remember that particular tease, but it does seem to sort of correspond to what we’re getting. Although, the Iron Man wave is rumored as a BAF wave, and the classic X-Men wave has seven figures, while retro waves have six. Seconded on hoping they revisit themes for the retro waves. The Spider-Man figures were some of my favorite Marvel Legends releases period, across the entire line.

Oh wow... maybe I forget or something, but I didn't realize we were getting a classic X wave... and seven figures you say? One of those gotta be Banshee... pretty hyped to find out the rest of them.

Wolverine (Astonishing maybe?) My only real expectation is the wave will have a Wolverine. I don't need another Wolverine but I know many want the Astonishing version. Callisto - ever since we got punk Storm that jacket is begging to be reused. Angel (Classic) - either the red or blue halo version, would prefer blue but I'll take red Banshee - Probably GSXM version but it could also be 90's Jim Lee version, since they've gone so heavily into that era. I'll be more than happy with either. Avalanche - needed fairly prominent villain. Monet - if the X-Force ladies probably won't come until another Deadpool wave, and Shadowcat and Deathstrike are spoken for this makes sense for a second female in the wave. if it's a 7 figure wave - Exodus. I know he's high on my list, but he's a fairly prominent B-list X-Villain. I expect they'll make him at some point in the next few years, this wave would fit him well. Possibly Classic Havok instead but I'd really like to get more than one villain in the wave. Ahab is another solid choice for a second villain, or Stryfe (I'm fine with the Stryfe I have but I know that wave was hell to find) - though I think Stryfe would work better in a Deadpool wave with it's Cable/X-force skewing. Or Longshot, or Toad. Really this 7th spot could be a lot of choices. Exodus is just who I'd like to see. If it's a BAF wave and not a retro/classic wave: Blob. I think it will happen within the next couple of X-waves. Outside of finishing out X-Force, Excalibur, this would take care of "most" of my X-Men needs. If Deathstrike and Shadowcat are not in the works right now, I'd replace the two female slots in my list with those two figures, they are definitely highly requested. I'd be down for Monet. Heck, give her interchangeable Penance parts and I'll buy two!

I would love a Callisto. She seems like sort of a no-brainer since she could consist almost exclusively of reused parts. I’ve been hankering for one since I saw a custom spotlighted on the Fwoosh: https://thefwoosh.com/2019/12/ebay-f...arvel-legends/

Thanks - I am the worst at recognizing anything but the most obvious part reuse, so I didn't even realize it had been reused. Either jacket would work for me for her, I'd just let to get her a figure at some point. And considering they seem to be digging in on X-Men related product, not just the most popular characters either, I think it's entirely possible.

I found the image I was talking about! It's at this video of the Marvel Legends reveal from February of last year, found at the 16:26 mark:
It says Decisions, Decisions... and has images of one figure each from the Toy Biz Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men and X-Men Classics. We found out that Spider-Man would be the next Retro wave when they revealed half of the wave with Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy with the Mary Jane Watson alternate head, and Spider-Man, respectively. Now we're getting Fantastic Four, Iron Man and possibly X-Men Classics as rumored Retro waves. That is pretty cool. If this keeps up, I'd love to see more figures get a Retro wave. As I've said before, The Incredible Hulk is long overdue for a new wave of figures and he has his 60th anniversary (along with Thor and Spider-Man), so 2022 must be a good year to do something fun with the Hulk. Also, they could always do a Retro Ghost Rider wave or even a mid-90s Marvel Super Heroes wave that had the heroes of the '90s animated series on the box art (Wolverine, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk and Human Torch, respectively). But the question remains: would we ever get a TALKING Marvel Super Heroes wave? |

Over at Marvelous News, there are listings of upcoming Marvel Legends products, including:
- Marvel Legends 3.75 Retro assortment Product Number: F2648 EAN: 5010993842766 - Marvel Legends Classic assortment Product Number: F1005 EAN: 5010993840021 - Retro Fantastic Four wave Product Number: F0171 EAN: 5010993842780 - Marvel Legends Villains W Skull Product Number: F3249 - Marvel Legends Black Widow two-pack Product Number: F1129 EAN: 5010993860777 There are also listings for a non-Marvel Legends series of six-inch Avengers Mech Strike figures that may or may not be based on the comic of the same name. Also, it looks like we're going to be getting a possible Deluxe figure for the Maestro. If that's true -- WHOO-HOO!!! EDIT: Since the codes seem to be different from the Classic X figures, do you guys think the Classic wave listed could be Bring On The Bad Guys or something else we don't know about yet? I'm still hoping to see more cool Marvel Legends stuff for Spider-Man and more figures for his Retro wave. Last edited by StuartGreen2019; 01-22-2021 at 02:25 PM.. |

I would be more than happy with a third series of the old Toy Biz Marvel Super Heroes figures. It'd be a great way to include new figures for new figures for classic Doctor Octopus, red costume Daredevil, Annihilus and other figures from that series without having them take up slots in main Marvel Legends waves.

As an update, tatooinesandworm at The Fwoosh listed all of the known Marvel Legends waves for 2021:
01 - Spider-Man Wave 1 (Stilt-Man wave, 7 figures) 02 - X-Men (Tri-Sentinel wave, 7 figures) 03 - Disney+ Wave 1 (7 figures) 04 - Shang-Chi (6 figures) 05 - Marvel Villains/Bring On The Bad Guys (7 figures) 06 - Spider-Man Wave 2 (7 figures) 07 - Retro Fantastic Four (6 figures) 08 - Iron Man (possibly Retro, 7 figures) 09 - Classic X (7 figures) 10 - Disney+ Wave 2 (7 figures) 11 - Eternals (7 figures) That's not including the Infinity Premium items, Avengers Mech Strike, Fan Channel releases, Deluxe figures and store exclusive items. This is also two more waves of figures than we got in 2020, so this means we have at least 75 main wave figures for 2021. I have a feeling 2021 will be a great year for collectors and a bad year for collectors' wallets, lol What do you guys think? |

Don’t see it being any worse than last year as a mainly “classic” (like 1998 or before in my mind) Marvel Universe/Spidey/X-groups focused collector.
Hoping some Walgreens exclusives or other random news for new Tigra & US Agent figs comes soon. Both were rumored for a long time now. Fuck Target exclusives this year. I want no more to do with that shit. For one, fuck Target itself. If you want the same basic selection as Walmart at like 15% higher price, hooray for you, have fun shopping at the local Target. I wouldn’t set foot in a Target if they didn’t have ML exclusives. Same crap always: seconds-long preorder windows, artificial scarcity, stock shown online that can’t physically be found anywhere in store at EVERY STORE, the hot items get scalped to hell and then months later after tons of people got screwed by scalpers a new wave of stock comes in and then usually—to add insult to injury—the secondary market value plummets because at that point they’ve overproduced shit so it goes on clearance a la Storm/T-bird. I will not support that system, might eventually procure those exclusive figs via trading or somesuch but Target won’t get a dime of my money. |

My thoughts on this line up
- Marvel Legends Classic assortment If not related to that Bring on the Bad Guys Wave We better have a Doctor Strange in there, An updated Hawkeye, maybe a she hulk in the suit everyone wants her in. Also hope this a mixture of different characters rather than one. Could also be the rumored Iron-man wave perhaps - Retro Fantastic Four wave Due to having the walgreens wave, they'd have to give me classic villians to sell me on this wave. - Marvel Legends Villains W Skull But this is listed a Villains the plural of Villain possibly related to that Bring on the Bad Guys Wave W Skull could mean red skull. If singular: Hopefully Mephisto, would be a good choice here and a potental one off. I wouldn't be if Maestro Hulk due to another Hulk Body they can use from Red Hulk, Grey Hulk, etc - Marvel Legends Black Widow two-pack Something tells me this will be movie related maybe Black widow Vs Task Master. @warmachine6 - I'm sure we'll get the full team in their Negative Zone suits. A lot of folks missed out on the Walgreens exclusive Fantastic Four figures, myself included. I'd imagine we'll get a villain or two and/or a guest hero with the wave. I could see them also making more Retro Fantastic Four figures as Fan Channel releases, like the current Retro Doctor Doom. I'm sure we'll see more than one villain made eventually. I'm just hoping we get a Johnny Storm and a Human Torch, as well as a fully visible Invisible Woman and an invisible version. They could release one version of Johnny and Sue for the main wave and the other as Fan Channel releases. We'll see.
Also, tatooinesandworm at The Fwoosh message boards has updated the Hasbro releases for this year, with Legends Orchestra (which is rumored to be a Deluxe figure of Maestro) in August for $50: Early April 2021 - Marvel's Shang Chi Late April 2021 - Disney+ Wave 1, 7 figures June 2021 - Marvel Villains (Bring On The Bad Guys), 7 figures July 2021 - Iron Man, 7 figures August 2021 - Disney+ Wave 2, 7 figures September 2021 - Classic X, 7 figures October 2021 - Spider-Man Wave 2, 7 figures November 2021 - Retro Fantastic Four, 6 figures Late 2021 - Marvel's Eternals, 7 figures I'm curious to see when Hasbro will give us sneak peeks of the fall waves, since Classic X, Spider-Man and Fantastic Four are several months away. I assume they'll show us three or so figures from those waves in February/March and the rest in May/June? It's also a bit surprising to me that the Retro Fantastic Four is so far away, since we had that Retro Doctor Doom released last November or so. That's promoting a Retro wave a full year away. I'm also hoping that the next Spider-Man wave is mostly classic/comic characters and that the inevitable 'Spider-Man 3' movie figures wave will be in late December/January, especially since the sequel isn't until December (unless it gets delayed again). Besides, I'd still love to see comic villains made into Marvel Legends Spider-Man figures like Chameleon, Sandman, Lizard and Shocker before we get to the inevitable movie figures. Man... I am glad that eternals wave is last on the list... I'd hate to try and find any wave that comes right after that wave since that entire wave will probably be pegwarm city.

Im excited to see we are going to get more figures still of the early MCU. There are still many good characters to get figures of and Im glad they wont be forgotten as the MCU keeps trucking along. As excited as I am to get a new Scarlet Witch from WandaVision we still need an Age of Ultron Wanda. Hopefully she comes in a 2 pack with the rumored Quicksilver figure. The Ancient One, Wong, Endgame Thor (armor), Civil War Hawkeye, AoS Quake, The Warrior's Three, Jane Foster, Nova Prime and Topaz are all fun choices that still deserve to get made.
I am even more excited though for a possible non-themed X-men wave. Is this where we will see Cannonball with legs? 7 good choices to me would be: Banshee (gotta be the most requested X-person right now, right?) Cannonball (hoping for Messiah Complex era look) Psylocke (armored version. Wishful thinking on my part) Exodus (classic 90s villian) Obligatory Wolverine (Fang version with hands and alt head for villian Fang) Mimic (Exiles version to go along with already released Blink and Morph) Shadowcat (Excalibur puffy blue shirt) Of all the possible X-men BAFs I have to say a redo of Blob probably tops my list. Holocaust could be cool. Armor would be very neat too. Id personally really love a Rockslide too. |

I think Banshee and Longshot might be tied for most wanted X-Men, followed by the last 4 characters to complete 90's X-Force and X-Factor(Siryn, Feral, Rictor and Wolfsbane). and then Rachel Summers. I'd like to see Random, Shard, Fatale and X-Treme. I would love more Exiles, maybe a boxset with Mimic, Sunfire, Nocturne and a white repaint of Sasquatch.

This is apparently the same UPC for the Supreme Hydra figure leaked for the Bring on the Bad Guys wave. If that's the case I'm thinking Supreme Hydra will be Baron Strucker with an alternate Red Skull head, or vice versa.
