What a surprise...just got a notice from Hasbro Pulse that the Hellfire Club set just got delayed by another two months. Yet I'm supposed to "save" my money for future preorders from Hasbro? Gimme a break. Ship our stuff when you promise to first.
To this day...I have still not received a single order from Hasbro Pulse within the promised time frame. Their issues with punctuality are absolutely ridiculous, especially considering it's their own products. I NEVER had these issues with the old Hasbro Toy Shop! I don't think it's Hasbro fault that the Suez Canal is blocked.

Of course...I might just be really dense and missed the punchline there you have been trying to make. |

While I don't know the exact shipping lane that Hasbro uses, it seems kinda counter productive to cut through Egypt and the Mediterranean when simply crossing the Pacific Ocean directly from ports on the Chinese mainland would be so much more efficient.
Of course...I might just be really dense and missed the punchline there you have been trying to make. Everything I've ever ordered from them comes out of Pennsylvania. To be honest I haven't noticed much difference between Pulse and Toy shop

It was mentioned a few years back that some at Hasbro might be a bit iffy on including realistic guns with the toys due to recent events...though actually enforcing that seems completely random; movie Cable and Domino had realistic guns, for instance.
I'm guessing that pistol on US Agent is gonna be glued in like Deadpool's desert eagles. |

Looking on Wikipedia, it looks like most of the larger ports in the US are along the east coast and the Gulf of Mexico.

^Which is consistent with years of Legends arriving to the west coast first after showing up in Hong Kong.

It's definitely time for a Betsy Braddock figure, be it her pink ruffled costume, the outback armor, the pre-HoX uniform or even her new Captain Britain costume. They've been doing really great things with Kwannon and it would cool to have her and Betsy on the shelf

If we are going for an original Betsy, I'd prefer Alan Davis' looks for her over any others.
While I highly doubt it will happen, I'd most like the look she sported when Slaymaster took her eyes... Much more likely and a perfectly suitable alternative, in my opinion...her early X-threads.., While these are my most preferred, I fully expect Hasbro would steer away from both as elements of each design necessitate tricky and unique sculpting, which has proven to be a bit of an anathema to Hasbro based on what we've seen in large part from the manufacturer. Insomuch as which Lady Briton I'd want, that's easy - Linda McQuillan: AKA Captain UK... Honestly, beyond just an ancillary X-Themed corner in Betsy (or the heavily X-Skewed Excalibur), I'd enjoy seeing an exploration of the entire Captain Britain mythos. I've mentioned the Fury many times, but I'd also welcome Linda/Cap UK (obviously), Jamie, Slaymaster, Saturnyne, Merlyn, Roma, and Mad Jim Jaspers. ...yes, I'm a big fan of Alan Davis, Alan Moore, and Captain Britain...moreso than the X-men. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 03-30-2021 at 06:35 PM.. Reason: In re-reading realized that Jaime and Slaymaster are not the same person...derp |

My first choice is outback armor Psylocke, but I would take the pink ruffled sleeves Psylocke.
Only because there would be a very strong chance that Hasbro would reuse those sleeves for a Shadowcat. Currently, my wish list is: 1. Shadowcat 2. Armor Psylocke 3. Rachel Grey Phoenix 4. Destiny 5. Blob 6. Feral 7. Meggan 8. Spiral 9. Avalanche 10. Stryfe |

Betsy’s hovered around my top ten wants for a few years now, so I agree completely. My personal preference would be for the pink shirt look, but the armored costume seems the most likely. I’d take any of the versions you mentioned, particularly Captain Britain. Betsy as Captain Britain is my favorite new idea from the “Dawn Of X” era (which I’m overall not fond of).

I just got my HoX wave order from Hasbro Pulse today and as expected they aren't perfect but I do love them! This is the first time though where I had to use a blow dryer to loosen up every single figures joints. I honestly have only had to use this trick a couple of times before so I guess I was do for a lot of sticky joints. The paint apps on mine look good and all of my planned mods went easy and look good to me. Xavier looks so much better with the telepathy effects moved to his helmet and my extra effects make Marvel Girl stand out a lot more. I also added a side split to the other side of her skirt and while articulation is still not full range, it is much better. Idk why Hasbro didn't add slits on both sides to begin with.
I totally agree with all of you about our need for a Betsy Braddock figure! I actually think Marvel has done such good stuff with Kwannon lately. I just got my first Psylocke in the Nimrod pack and she is totally Kwannon in my mind/collection. My first choice is for the Outback Armour but I would buy almost any and maybe even most of these choices. Overall its really hard for me to make a current top ten right now. I find myself liking so much of what Hasbro is producing these days and I have plenty of niche or obscure wants. With the sheer quantity of figures they make each year I even feel like I can actually be hopeful about some of those wants! One of the things I have been thinking of is if this years con exclusive is going to be made available online again. A few pages ago I said I would probably go back to using another outlet to pre order as opposed to the Pulse website but thats purely because paying a couple dollars extra to get my figures seemingly faster is worth it to me. Its not because of any kind of service quality. In fact I think it was super awesome that they opened up the Hellfire Club pack to a second printing. I'm sure it was a mostly monetary choice but its cool that so many more people are going to get to enjoy that set, including myself, when it arrives (and they gave me a prompt update about its arrival, it's late, but I truly appreciate a company keeping me up to date). If there is no in person con this year I hope they do it again. There are definitely multi packs I could want and I would love to get the chance to buy them at retail price and I don't expect Hasbro would continue this kind of offer when Cons start happening in person. Multi packs I currently want but would be sad of they were con exclusives I could not afford or aquire: Excalibur (classic or Dawn of X actually) Brotherhood of Evil Mutants Young Avengers!!! I got an extra purple hair Psylocke with box (minus Apocalypse piece). Will trade for old 3.75 inch figures. Ever since I saw the new Retro 375 figures, I have been reverting to the smaller scale. Check out my trade list here.

Quick question about Psylocke. Could she be considered a Teenage Mutant Ninja Telepath?

I kind of got lost in the details on the post on Fwoosh, but apparently something was discovered for Amazon for November priced at 150 Euros.....
Excalibur. Gotta be. I can't think of a comic multipack that is more wanted or needed at this point. |

I feel like an Excalibur pack must be on Hasbro's radar. It seems like most members could be done as new heads and minor tooling.
My ideal pack would be: Captain Britain (Brian Braddock classic with sword they teased) Meggan (please do the green outfit!) Nightcrawler (would love to see him partially translucent like the 3 3/4" figure. Maybe Mysterio's gas effect in purple) Shadowcat (a must! Lockheed and Widget pack ins too) Phoenix (Rachel Summers hound outfit. I want them to re-tool Psylocke's head effect to have the Phoenix bird head in the middle in red and yellow translucent plastic) Pete Wisdom (new head, standard suit in black, hands with hot knife effect) |
