I love the white Vision! He's really good!
As for NYCC, I'm waiting for a Female Thor and Falcon Cap. |

I decided not to bother with looking for the 3 pack, and just grabbed Vision off of Ebay, who arrived today. Glad to finally have my favorite version of the character in action figure form. I love the faded details on his cape, they're wicked.
He's far from perfect though, seems mine has a few QC issues. Just curious, to anyone else who got the set, were the legs wobbly straight out of the package at the hips, as well as a little loose on the ankles? Also, I'm curious as to how the figure's assembly was? On my Vision's left leg, there is a bit of gap between where his upper and lower thigh connect, and his head was a little wobbly...the hole being just a little too big for the ballpeg (which I easily remedied with a small piece of paper towel to fill the gap, but still...) While I bought the figure off of Ebay, he came still in the plastic tray having never been removed, so I know it's not an abuse issue from the seller. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's still a bit annoying to look at. |

On the other toy forum, Dorkside Toys hinted (well, blatantly used the word "uncanny" in reference to) possible 2016 X-Men Legends figures, as well as generally hinting that 2016 will be a bigger (is that even possible?) and better year overall for the line.
Sucky thing is I've vowed to get out of collecting next year due to buying a new house. Undecided yet though if that will apply to 2016 items that I "pre-order" in 2015... lol. |

Yeah, but that does me no good. I want 6 inch Legends scale ones.

There's a 4 volume trade paperback of the run that's pretty good. Quote:

Still...despite these flaws...super cool figure. The use of clear plastic with a white wash was pretty sweet, as it fades and blends nicely, especially on the cape. I wish he still had the open hand that was featured on the back of the packaging, but other than that, no other complaints. Quote:
Thanks to Brickseek, the Target closest to me showed that they had gotten the Target ML 3-pack, so I went there. Had to have an employee get one from the back, then price matched it to their current online price of $28.50 and picked it up.
... Vision has some issues. Key is that he has super loose hips, what I call hula hoop hips, as they can flex without moving the joints. He also has some loose joints so together they can make getting him to stand a bit tricky in some poses. I'm also not the biggest fan of some of the fade paint apps, it's a bit weird in places like the fade in the chest by the ab crunch. Overall, for under $30, it's a phenomenal set. Also, unlike other sets, this one had three figures that I actually have an interest in, so that also helps. (The first Avengers comic that I really read had White Vision in it.) |

He's the Indestructible Hulk. Part of the Marvel NOW era, Banner decided to stop being on the run or trying to cure himself of the Hulk and instead focus on trying to do good himself and manage his "condition". He went to SHIELD and made a deal; they supply Banner with everything he wants in a lab, the Hulk helps out during difficult ops. His mantra was "Hulk Breaks, Banner Builds."
There's a 4 volume trade paperback of the run that's pretty good. As I said when I got him: If it weren't for the cape balancing him, I'd have a lot more issues getting him to just stand in a group. Anywhooo here's my Spider display so to speak.... my figures definitely aren't as nicely posed as the way some of you guys have yours, nor is the background special. just on a shelf for now. i need quite a few other characters to make this complete. at least in my eyes. |

This is the cover from the first Indestructible Hulk, it's the same design: When he breaks into the Mad Thinkers lair in that issue, he is even wearing the exact same color pants as the figure, but whatever. Last edited by Pravus Prime; 10-05-2015 at 10:01 PM.. Reason: Changed to Variant Cover. |

Sounds like the same problems that first showed up on the Bucky Cap based figures from the Odin wave. Pretty easy fix though... just drop a bit of super glue around the hole where the hip bar passes through the pelvis/crotch, and you're golden. Some folks also mentioned the crotch separating on their clear Visions, but same fix... drop some glue, press the crotch pieces together, let it set, than boom.

Hopefully I one of the casting sites out there will put out a cast of the "wall crawling Spidey" hands in clear plastic, so I can throw a nice white wash and mod, since this is the image I always think of when I remember Vision from this era... |

Ahh...both good and unfortunate to know that I wasn't the only one who had a Vision that suffered from some QC issues. My guess is that a lot of the problems stems from the clear plastic, which is noticeably more stiff and solid than the softer, rubbery plastics that they are using on Marvel Legends now a days. After comparing my two Vision figures side by side...there's a huge noticeable difference between the two.

That doesn't make sense to me. Why does the AoU one come with an open hand but not the white one?

It might be hard to tell from my pics, but the skull of my Vision is deformed and the left hip slips from the socket due to a hairline crack in the plastic. The hip problem is pretty common with many of the Marvel Legends Infinite figs: Spider Girl, White Tiger, and one of my translucent Dr. Strange figs (similar to Vision, there's a hairline crack in the plastic of the hip joint - There may be something to what Trivial Psychic was saying regarding the grade of plastic for translucent figs). I also think there is a flaw with the design of the hip joints for a couple of bucks, both male and female...I bought a second Hulk 3pk and a loose translucent Dr. Strange, both on the cheap, so it's all good in the end.
In any event, I'm happy with Vis and I've been hoping for this version of the character for quite some time. |

@Phantomcrow
Dammit, I knew I was forgetting someone. I have the fig: I was so excited about how the poses came out and that I was able to fit everyone in the shot, that I left Julia out. No problem, I still have the set-up standing. When I get home, I'll add her for your pleasure I would love to get a 'speedsuit' Hank. Also, a 'Hollywood' Simon would be nice...throw in a retro variant for that planned Mockingbird and we will be golden! |

Doc Green came out of The Indestructible Hulk, it's where the story went with the final issue being Banner being shot to lead to the Extremis and Doc Green.

NYCC the only thing I'm expecting we may see some more CA: Civil War stuff and maybe some very rough (slide) prototypes for Thor: Ragnarok and GOTG 2. I would be delighted to see something X-men related, but well.....o_O
And I'm not giving hope up that we won't see something or a hint of Enchantress, because I really do think she's got to be coming fairly soon (by the time the Thor stuff hits at any rate.) |

I have to admit, Marvel lost me at/just before Original Sin, Secret Wars hasn't won me back (though I am reading Thors), and what I can tell from their "All New, All Different!" lineup, I probably won't be reading those either. I think this is the third time I've more or less given up on Marvel for a time since the 90's.

Can someone bring me up to speed on what's up with the X-Teams? Did they ever send the all new x-men back?

Well the All-New (young x-men from the past) X-men are still around and going on a road trip in their new book and The rest of the X-men that make it out of Secret Wars are getting sterilized thanks to the Inhumans ( and the garbage with FOX studios). X-23 is the New Wolverine ( this pisses me off the most because they always tried to make her NOT just a wolverine clone and now they are completely making her nothing but a Wolverine clone, costume and all. It just means they have run out of ideas to me) and Old Man Logan will be the only older Wolverine.
