as in 8 + variants but if this happens i will be very happy unlikely. and If not i need to somehow become the guy In charge of what characters are made into figures.... (that would be a miracle) and then at the next con i'd say erm well we're making comic figures as well... like penance etc and if we're making a movie wave then you'll see characters from that film .... I could go on how to improve the characters etc but i don't think people will have enough time to read Last edited by warmachine6; 08-25-2013 at 04:42 PM.. |

So after reading some of the posts/comments it seems to me that HASBRO has decided cancel all ML figures?! Is this why I have only seen two ( klaw & hope ) collecting dust @ Target, might swing by Walys later on tonight to see what luck I get....
So now I'll have to do some ebaying for the figures I'm looking for.....thanks for nothing Hasbro :c

don't hold back we'll get our figures but they are movie related and might see some comic editions of those characters , we get figures just when movies comes out. Considering marvel has big plans for films, i hope hasbro does and considering they will save money hopefully that money will fund better BAF's as well as figures
Sucks to see HASBRO take the same route as MATTEL, although i have seen more items from HASBRO than MATTEL when it comes to the figures, meaning more.geared towards the average consumer rather than us, the true believers.

Thanks for the condifence boost. And that's the same conclusion I'm drawing. But that gets to me as well mostly because now i get a second chance to get the figures i didn't get when ToyBiz was making them. Especially the alternatives like FF Doom and such.

DC by the looks of things , I dunno why but i think DC has gone a bit down hill , Mattel figures i find have some good articulation and detail but not as good as hasbro's. I think really it's my personal opinion on figures and being a toybiz / hasbro collector mattel's articulation just doesn't do it for me, Plus their have only been i dunno 7 batman films and 6 superman films , 1 JLA film (really old , featuring fire, ice , atom , and John) it doesn't have as many as marvel which is all about the audiences hype about something once avengers 3 finishes , no idea what marvel will do i suppose look at other characters but will be interesting to know what to expect in the next years or so . Just so i can save up
I'm hoping that by the new release of Thor2 we get to have not only the movie line figures and what not, but also another wave of ML figures, may be some random, that have not been released before. Then do the same for Avengers 2.

Agreed, although I have posed some of my DCU/C along with my ML.figures and the look pretty decent one next to the other. I am currently looking for Frank Castle to pair up with DCs vigilante just like i paired up Bizzaro against Wolverine (brown suit/TB) looks pretty bad ass.

They did preview a Thor (Now) figure, I have no clue in what movie wave they'll release it in but it has some similarities to the last version Wouldn't it be cool to get an Agents of Shield wave? |

Yes, wouldn't it be cool if they released all the running changes during the Thor 2 hype machine in an online case of 8? That would be Xmas come early for me indeed . However, I believe they mentioned at SDCC that there would be no Thor 2 figures in legends 6", something about not having the time or they had too many other irons on the fire or something...

yes i would love an AoS line i'd grab a coulson in no time, hasbro has really no excuses to stay at doing 6 figures per wave now i hope we can get 8 at max , I'd be suprised if we get 9 to 10 figures for a BAF (like the toybiz giant man wave, although you needed that variant wolverine)
I wish they would do a 10 piece BAF again, or 8 even, so long as I could get those pieces at the same time lol |

I think that is ultimately a personal choice when putting a value on a figure MOC or loose. I think that version is worth $30 myself, but if you look at what people are charging and paying on ebay. Again, it's up to the buyer in each instance, I paid $100 for the set and I still think she's only $40 at best, with perfect paint etc. I mean the set was $50 at SDCC and over $100 on ebay. The only reason she has any signifigant value is because there isn't plans to release her again anytime soon. My point is, I wanted the set and paid through the nose for it because I wanted it like mad, was it worth the hun? Nope. But that's what I paid. Sorry for the rant WM6
