My current Avengers lineup:
Swapped out the Avengers movie Cap in favor of the new Marvel Now! version, but gave him movie Cap's shield. I like the extra details it has on the star as well as having adjustable straps. Still waiting for Hasbro to make a good Ms. Marvel... but I just hope that when they do it isn't Carol's Captain Marvel costume, 'cause I've never liked it. |

Nice mod to Captain America! I have yet to find one with decent paint apps or a centered "A"...

I found a Carnage today. Really great overall. I still haven't had any luck with a Black Cat though. I got a Marvel Now Captain America as well. I passed on the Captain America villans. Hopefully I don't regret that, but I just couldn't justify spending so much money on things. I'm a happy camper with Hasbro's recent stuff. It's the first time in many years I actively went out to look for figures.

I came across some good figures off a few local collectors and ebay, and for the most part are doubles for me. I have up for trade/sale an extra ML series 4 black panther, sentinel series cyclops and near moc series 8 Hawkeye. I also have a bunch of ML/MS bases including all the sentinel bases. PM if interested.

Lol, Yea the MArvel Legends series 1 Cap head does look a bit bright in that photo. It looks alot better in person.
I too would love to see a Bagley version of Venom in the Marvel Legends. I was looking to get that new Marvel Select Venom and see how that works with the Legends scale stuff. The fact that you could have him in a more classic evil smiling face sculpt, or the monster tongue version seems pretty cool to me. Man TRU is really price gouging on the new Marvel stuff. That's absolutely crazy. I did get a %15 off a regular price item coupon from them when I grabbed my Captain figure, but I'm not sure it's even worth using on something if they jack up their prices so high. Nice photos Steef. The alien getting his head cut by Wolverine is great. |

TRU never has anything in stock to ship through their crappy website anyways, so forget them and their lame price hikes. Honestly, at least in the Nor Cal Sac area, TRU is a waste of gas to go to due to their terrible stocking and pricing. Fell off my toy hunt rotation quite a while ago.

Saw the new Red Skull over the weekend. Even at $15, still couldn't bring myself to pick it up. If I had, my OCD would have forced me to finish the Mandroid and I don't really want to commit to that many ML figures (some of which I wouldn't even want, like the MN Cap).
It's the same reason I resisted getting the IM3 figures, even though I would've liked the majority of them, including Iron Monger. Of course, now that those figures are on clearance everywhere I go, that old temptation is coming back. Luckily for me, I can't find Iron Patriot anywhere.

Trying to get my Marvel Legends shelf in complete working order this week. I've got every Marvel Legends and Marvel Select, Spidey Classics, movie figure ever made (and some not made), to work with. What I want is one of each unique character. There are some execeptions, I treat each of Hulk's psyche manifestations as a separate character, no Ultimates peeps and no Mojo or Longshot, I hate those two. The Marvel Select and Universe are almost always swap ins for figures that aren't made in Legends. So looking in the shelf, am I missing anything obvious based on the criteria (other than AIM soldier who I'm not opening yet)?
Probably going to bring in 90s Toybiz stuff too if it comes close to scale and detail. |
