Saw Darkhawk, Nova and Angela at Walgreens last night. I don't even know who or what Titus is but damn do I want him after getting a look at that face in the Darkhawk Figure.

I think the issue with the capes may be fairly widespread, my friends' had the same issue, and he was going to swap if his was better as he knew how much I wanted her. Onto another response about one X-wave a year, man I hope not, but it's sure better than nothing. I could be completely wrong but I have a feeling the core X-Men we will see next year will be: Gambit, Nightcrawler, Storm and Psylocke. And then one or two new heroes and one or two villains, either new or redone. Maybe the rumor I was seeing over the weekend about a Deadpool wave doesn't count into that 1 per year though...I like Deadpool and the movie but I don't want Deadpool-centric characters to fill all the X-slots for one year. |

From the X-Men wave, I'm interested in getting Dazzler! The roller skates won't be a grievance to me. Of course I haven't got the chance to look yet for it at Target. I also want to maybe try to complete the Titus wave! Pick up Drax, also want Yondu (Michael Rooker HS looks great) and a comic Major Victory (it was so exciting to hear that they were making one of him as I had read Guardians 3000) Angela would be boss too (but I'm betting she's pretty rare to find) honestly have to go for Wave 2, The Long Coat Star Lord (which I always wanted a version of glad to see it's also a new headsculpt!) Gamora (She looks beautiful and I was never able to find her for the first movie so yes definitely) and Rocket (SECOND HEADSCULPT AND HE LOOKS BETTER THAN EVER!) are an automatic buy for me. Especially if I'm unable to get my hands on the Evolution of Groot, Baby Groot does come with Rocket. It would be cool to find Drax for $9.99 at Walgreens!

I'm going to keep Polaris until I get a replacement. Sunfire though, is going back tonight.

Has anyone found the new X-Men wave at any store other than Target? I'm just wondering if it's worth looking at any other stores. I've only seen them at Target.

Titus was a member of the black unit of the Nova corps (think black ops) introduced when Sam first showed up. He betrayed the rest of his team after the rest of the corps went down battling the Cancerverse invasion and sought to take their portions of the Nova force. He was very quickly killed when Sam used the ultimate nullifier against him but I guess he somehow survived because I'm pretty sure he was at the end of the new Nova #2 (I haven't read 3 yet).

Took some pictures of Dazzler and a picture of Polaris today. I thought having actual lamps in my room would fix some of my camera issues (like it blurring out the background), but that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe I just have to play around with the placement of the lamps some more.

I just realized, between Toybiz and Hasbro, we can now finally complete the Australian Outback team. Granted none of the outfits are correct except Longshot, Havok and Wolverine, but that's really something....

Can anyone post some comparison photos between the new Colossus and the Age of Ultron Hulk? I feel like that Hulk is kinda small

Today's arrival... While it's basically a re-issue of the former BAF figure with more accessories at a lower price point (being that you don't need to complete a wave to get him...) I kinda dig this version of Groot the most. Truthfully, I prefer the head on the original BAF over the smiling expression (and those creepy eyes the new one has...does Groot have pupils in this movie?) but the body on the (almost)new TRU Groot has a much better set of paint apps with more spots of green dry brushing, and the issues that the older Groot had with the joints (the arms used to come off easily) seem to have been fixed, since this figure is not really meant to be built (although there is some assembly required.) The baby Groots are tinier than I expected, but are cute additions and made it worth while to pick up the figure all over again. And for those of you wondering, the head on the old BAF is interchangeable, giving you options to pose that way as well. Hasbro could have went a cheap route and could have just included the new head sculpt and baby Groots with the new wave of GOTG2 figures (ala Magneto Onslaught's head coming with Kitty Pryde) but I'm glad they went this route, since so many people had difficulty completing this wave thanks to the difficulty in finding Nova, Rocket and Gamora the first time around, with many resorting to picking up the ChinaBay version with light up chest action instead to fill in the gap of their collection... Although I'm not completely letting them off the hook. Making Groot a TRU exclusive? Shame on you Hasbro.... |

Just because you gave me an excuse to put up my crappy Outback Rogue custom again by mentioning it...

Comparison photo:
Different expressions but I believe they nailed it very well! The nose is identical! And the rest of the face looks like it goes very well together! I can't wait for this wave to be released! |

Really Dig your Avatar. But have you checked Walgreens? I have seen Most of the wave there including Drax since you need him to complete the team. The only one I haven't seen from this wave is the one I want most Darkhawk

Thanks. I saw an outback Rogue recently on Ebay that absolutely destroyed mine though. Even tried to win it, but the price jumped out into insanity land (over 170 dollars.) It made me question what I've been doing with my life...lol. Damn these guys with a mastery of airbrushes, masking tape, and steady handedness! Gave me a couple of ideas though in case I decide to try again. That said...I should really get take a few more pics of her, just cause... |
