My wallet is ever so thankful to Hasbro for the limited amount of comic based characters in the past few waves. Got King Cobra for $10 & Taskmaster for $20 at a local con last Sunday & sold off the Thanos R.leg BAF part that came with TM for $10 a day later. so $20 for both those figs is awesome. Now just need Black Knight from the next MCU heavy wave.
Shame that the MCU seems to be overtaking classic comic based figs in the Marvel legends line. |

Oh and the still-yet-to-be-officially-revealed Days of Future Past set. That's certainly nothing to sneeze at. |

Went out to 2 Walmarts & found the new Avengers wave at one. Just picked-up the two ladies of the line. Thanks to whoever posted the heads-up about these hitting!

Picked up the BAF Cull Obsidian wave from Walmart. Haven't really had a chance to play with the figures. I usually build the BAF with my daughter first. And the BAF is awesome, though I do wish his thighs/legs were a bit thicker for better proportions. However his height is great. Sasquatch would have been just that much better if he'd been as tall.

Well seeing as how some of you are finding the new Avengers wave at WalMart, I think I know where I need to go on my way home today. After seeing more and more pictures of the Black Widow figure, I just might pick her up too. Fingers crossed!

I don't know where this guy gets his info from, but if this turns out to be true, I'd be happy with it.
He says in the video that a classic wave 2 could be coming with Hank Pym Ant-Man, classic Wasp, classic Black Panther, Scarlet Spider (with a possibly unmasked head), classic Vision, and a classic Hawkeye. Last edited by Spyne98; 05-17-2018 at 10:05 AM.. |

Anyone happen to snag the leaked picture of the Infinity War 3 pack with Stark, Strange, and an improved Iron Spider?
I missed it and am really wanting to see it. Thanks! EDIT Apparently they were customs. Last edited by Penguino; 05-17-2018 at 11:18 AM.. |

Personally, though, I'd much rather see a Vintage Hulk and Thor released over Scarlet Spider. Especially Hulk. Gimme that bright green and those purple pants, man!

I'd be down for a second Vintage wave, even if none of these guys were ever released as part of the Marvel Super Heroes line (yeah, I know, neither was Widow, and Wolvie was in the X-Men line, but still). Personally, I don't care about getting a new Scarlet Spider (aside from the upcoming SP//dr wave), and my Walmart Panther is functionally a 'classic' version with his cape off, but the rest would definitely have my interest.
Personally, though, I'd much rather see a Vintage Hulk and Thor released over Scarlet Spider. Especially Hulk. Gimme that bright green and those purple pants, man! The vintage line feels like it's just there to help people who missed out on things the first time, which is fine and dandy, but disappointing to collectors who have been doing this for a while. The only one I picked up from the first releases was 2 of the Vintage Widow, and it was mostly because it makes a great fodder piece and works perfect with the Riders Widow. What's more, like BB said, none of this second rumored wave were even featured originally in the Toybiz line to begin with. I would have liked to have seen a classic Thor and purple pants Hulk, as well as an updated US Agent, classic Deathlok (with removable head plate showing off that brain of his,) and an armored Daredevil. I would have went crazy for that wave and would throw my wallet at the cashier with them in hand. On a side note, but continuing the Toybiz classic theme, I would LOVE a wave of Spider-Man Legends based entirely on the Fox TV show and their designs, using those color pallets. -Spidey (gotta have him) -Venom (with that weird red and blue tone they painted him in, along with those silly eyes) -Blade (with that spiked jacket and oh so sweet flat top) -Doc Ock (with that yellow shoulder pad armor) -Smyth (with hover chair!) -Civillian Peter Parker (give him a camera and a new clip on piece that simulates his spider sense!) -Vulture (that headgear!) -Hydro Man/Scorpion (both covers two needs, since what you got in the cartoon is more or less what you get in the books.) Give it the retro packaging and make the BAF for this that crazy looking Xenomorph inspired Spider-Slayer and I would be oh so happy. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 05-17-2018 at 02:19 PM.. |

I stopped by a Walmart hoping to find the new Ant-Man and Wasp figures and instead found a relatively fresh Deadpool wave so I picked up Cable on an impulse. There are areas where Hasbro could've done better like giving us an alternate non-flashy eye head but overall I really like it.

Triv, I will say that when "classic" Vision is mentioned, I assume that it's "first appearance" Vision, rather than his all-white version.

Did anyone else's heart stop when they got the BBTS email that featured "X-Men" in the headline? only to find out it's a Professor X with hoverchair statue. o_O

Thanos might demand silence, but Wade would just reeeeally like you to not spoil his big #2!
Speaking of Thanos and Deadpool... "THANNY! Oh man, it's been ages! How ya doin', still pulling the 'nice guy' routine for Death?" "Remove yourself, fool, before I make you wish you could permanently die." "Awww, don't be like that, Thanny-pack! Come on, we've got that magical love-triangle, romantic rivals thing that all the YA authors love to heap out these days! It's a marketing gold mine! And that's not even getting into the shipfics!" "I mean, come on, how can the deadliest California Raisin not want a little piece of this, hmmm?" "I will make you suffer for this indignity--" "Eh, you're right. Why go for the slashfic audience when hurt/comfort fics are all the rage? MEAN BEAN MACHINE!" *GUNCH* "Oh, man, the resemblance is uncanny. This is totally like The Parent Trap! The Hayley Mills version. Of Course."

LOL great shots Boy Blunder! The second one cracked me up.
Today was a great day for Legends. My Cable and Cap came in from Dorkside to complete those two waves. Stopped by a couple Walmarts and snagged almost the entire Infinity War wave 2. Just missing Thor. |

Slightly OT but Deadpool 2 was great. Entire cast killed it and the new characters (especially Cable and Domino) were rad AF.
