Some are speculating that Hasbro cancelled it in light of all the stuff about Stan being a suspected victim of elder abuse and suing his old business partner and stuff. They probably don't want to be seen as trying to cash in on the guy when it's clear he's in bad shape right now.

Probably still going to pick up the pack when it inevitably hits discount prices, if only for Killmonger.

The BAF Stan Lee model (two 2 packs with half of the BAF in each) would actually work really well to get us a Jim Lee Jubilee. I know many of us are scarred after missing out on the Jubilee BAF last time, but as a single release I think she'd shelf warm horribly. Also, the parts of the figure that would require special BAF tooling (the arms) can be be reused from the previous BAF version. She'd just need new forearms and upper thighs.
Wolverine (Tiger Stripe, straight up rerelease)/Magneto (red/purple repaint of the Apocolypse BAF wave figure) with Jubilee's head, arms and firework effects And Cyclops (Jim Lee with bomber jacket)/Jean Grey (retooled Rocket Racoon BAF wave, fix the thighs and use a new headsculpt) with Jubilee's body and trenchcoat I'd pay $50 each all day for those. Robotkingdom has the case of the Sauron wave for $179.90 with cheapest shipping of $62.71. Nope. I’ll wait patiently for Dorkside to list it.

Bucky looks much improved, not the right hair or beard for his IW look, but still good... I wonder with the Stan Lee fig being pulled if these sets will be pushed back, if not I’m guessing the multi pack BAF idea got scrubbed a long time ago or was just an idea or mock up, and were just now learning about it.

Doc Ock is easily my fav fig from the SP//dr wave..I think they did a good job on him.
Second fav is SP//dr.. he reminds me of an Eva. a decent solid comic based wave. love these things but damn i think they are putting out too much product this year. SIDE NOTE: to those that have Black Widow from the Cull wave, what are those short things that fit in the holsters that she comes with?!?!? update: don't care for this Black Night figure at all. update2: was bending Wasps left arm at the elbow annnnnnd...SNAP!!! didn't even really push it that hard.

As for those things that Widow has, to me they look like a set of tasers. They could also be electric shavers or personal body "massagers"... Sorry to hear about Wasp. She's a great figure. Heat my friend. Always heat! |

Yeah, but those were not released by hasbro, my understanding is they were just leaked pics. For all we know it was just a mock up or something. I just think if hasbro had all the figures produced and packed with the BAF, Stan would have had to already sign off. For them to unpack, sort, and repack every one of those sets, then what? store thousands of Stan BAFs in some Raiders of the lost ark facility? Unless we find out Stan Lee is actually Hitler, or he use to double date with bill Cosby, I doubt he’s done anything bad enough to warrant dropping his figure. These things do happen at a snails pace, they might have changed it months back when Stan was sick, and in and out of the hospital. It would look bad if his figure was on shelves while he was passing.

I just hate that we don't get a Falcon with a regular head and no goggles. I really don't understand the whole decision of who get extra heads and accessories vs who does not. I know it is all about production cost, but when some spider men come with 6 extra hands and some come with 0 extra? Movie Widow comes with 2 staff parts and 2 tasers and Lizard wave Spider Woman comes with not even alternate open hands? I am really tired of figures ( especially female ones) that only have fists/ flight/ spellcasting hands and no alternates. I mean is it some crazy thing that I want figures to HOLD ACCESSORIES???
