Dynamic fashion sense to whom? Poison, Whitesnake, and Ratt fans? Uh-huh. Look, I loved Prince growing up, but you wouldn't find me dressed like him. Nor would I design a hero to look like him...although, it would be kind of humorous.
But, hey...if people want Chippendales figures, more power to them. I'll leave those puppies on the pegs. While you're at it, make Deodato's World Engine Thor. He can be their leader... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 07-11-2018 at 09:04 PM.. |

The short jacket, the belts, the gambit headgear.... whoooo... 90's were not kind to Havok. LoL. I would buy it, of course- but only because if we ever get StrongGuy he'll be in an X-factor suit and you have to have him stand by someone... but the likelihood of Polaris getting her X-Factor costume or Wolfsbane is so far out of left-field that the team in those looks would never be finished. So if we see Havok again anytime soon (X-Men Classics wave maybe?) I'm hoping on the classic look.

The whole X-Factor run was pretty fun. If I remember right, there was part of an issue dedicated to him coming up with a Superhero name and Strong Guy was what he ended up with.

That's my boy right there! LOL. Actually, IMO Shatterstar has my fav costume all-time, but this is probably second best to me. Like the bottom half he copied Cyke and the top half he copied Gambit and with the old school giant X-Factor X on the chest. Been waiting for this figure since I bought my first MU fig... MU died though, so ML is my last hope.

I would love that version! Nothing against the classic black and white, but that was his costume when I started reading comics. It's my favorite.

Required to come up with a codename, Guido announces himself as "Strong Guy" at an X-Factor press conference after hearing a child say, "He must be the strong guy! Every superhero team has a strong guy!"

Sooo...clearly I shouldn't be posting any more pics of Havok
I recently found this in a box of old Wolvies. That's right, I have a box of old, pre-Marvel Legends, Wolverines. Because why not? He's Wolverine. The thing is, I had a lot of the old Toy Biz Marvel Legends figures, and sold them right after Hasbro's first wave came out for two reasons: 1. That wave was garbage. 2: I had a business to pay for. But being that Wolverine's my favorite character, I just couldn't let this one go. Though, oddly enough, I let every other version of the ol' canucklehead go. I must be complicated in ways I don't understand. Anywho, I found him, and figured I should take a pic of him. Have fun, all!

I was just going to ask if X-Factor was good. I never read any of it, but I like the premise.

Oh that's right, X-Factor just continued its numbering. It didn't go to issue 1, so I never read the first issue of that run.

I feel like the next 90's X-Factor character they'e going to do is either going to be Forge or Wolfsbane
I also expect to see Classic white dress Mystique as part of the Captain Marvel wave |

I am one hundred percent confident that a 90's X-Factor Havok would not peg warm. That look is one of the coolest designs of any X-men IMO. I don't get why his actions figures always either came in his classic uniform or his more modern uniform... not his 90's X-Factor look.

Got my 10th Anniversary Ronan from EE. Good looking figure. Head only turns side to side because the shoulder pads are connected to the headress.Paint apps and scuplting are spot on. Good figure. Looking forward to the rest of the 10th Anniversary MCU figs.

^ I saw Ronin and at local shop too! Didn't get him though... can't take him seriously anymore after the whole dance off scene from the first Guardians.
Storm is the only Jim Lee era X-men outfit that I don't really have an overt fondness for. I think I actually like Punk Storm or some of the newer looking Storms better. And for Jean Grey.... I like her 90's outfit best, but maybe like her ponytail version from the 90's cartoon slightly better. Quote:
And with how well the most recent Elektra turned out... would love to get classic Mystique using the same basic mold. |

WOw I can't believe SDCC in one week and NOTHING has been leaked so far. Honestly, I hope it stays that way. If it does this will be the first year of first reveal surprises (excepting general idea of the wave of course) instead of checking off figures from unofficial listings that in the past came up in May/June.

Has anyone seen the way Jugs wave Rouge is rocketing in price? I should have grabbed a few more when she was $15
