So as you (may) all know I haven't been able to get around much of late - between sickness and being home bound taking care of a dog with hourly feedings much of the day (so glad I work from home...), the times I've been able to get out that haven't been going to the gym or grocery shopping have been minimal.
All that to preface....I FINALLY watched Endgame this weekend. I know I already knew a lot of spoilers and that's fine, because it has been almost four months since release, after a week or so after release of common courtesy, it's not on the everyone else to make sure my lack goes spoiler free. Still even knowing what I knew, it was still great. Loved the Wanda vs. Thanos moment. Poor purple raisin had to call his entire army to save his wrinkly butt. So much other great stuff too, but that was probably my favorite. The other thing: I was able to get to a further away Walmart for the first time in a long time - when I say further away I mean more than just the two closest lol. What do I see on my forage but a (IMO) perfectly painted lone 80th Captain America. I wasn't thinking of getting him but how could I not? That figure is a thing of beauty. They had a few of the multi packs but no other Single 80th figures. I feel lucky as I know the single figures have been hell to find from what I'm reading. That's all..I just wanted to share because...well....I have nothing else to say. |

Anyone want/need the calm or angry Thanos head from the 10th anniversary 3-pack?

Got back from my vacation yesterday and I finally opened the rest of my 80th anniversary figures. It felt like Christmas lol.

I'm still mad Hasbro made an energy effect for swords but didn't give it to Silver Samurai. Do his swords look best with blue, pink, or orange?

The blue energy would work if it were the second Silver Samurai, though.

What? Are there any pics? I would think that it's too soon even though I'd really like it, a lot of e-tailers still don't even the have regular Hulk pack.

I...might need that. I don't have a grey hulk. Depends on how he's released. Also let's keep in mind this week/weekend is the Canadian convention. I sure hope we see another Alpha Flight member, and that it ISN"T Puck. Not that we don't need a redo of Puck since he was small, even for him, and scarce, but if that's the reveal that's 3 for 3 redos, no new members that haven't been made yet. Hoping for someone else, anyone else, from the core team. |

Also Man that Grey hulk is a thing of beauty. I wonder where it’ll be a exclusive too. Probably Amazon since that’s where he was found on |

Got Mr Sinister in the mail today. My one criticism is that his cape makes him back-heavy but this was also an issue with the MU figure so it's not exactly a big surprise here and doesn't hurt my opinion of the figure. I know some people have complained about how many villains we've gotten with smiling faces lately but Sinister is a character who revels in being a sadistic, evil, creep so Hasbro opting for an evil grin does make him look more, well, sinister. *ba-dum-tss* Bad jokes and mild criticism aside this is a very cool figure. His articulation is mostly what should be expected from the line at this point but he does have an ankle swivel where his boots flare in addition to the standard hinge and pivot which is a pleasant surprise. Paint on mine is overall nicely done, some of his face apps are ever so slightly off but it's only really detectable on close-up pictures so on the shelf he's pretty clean looking. If it weren't for Nightcrawler I would say Sinister is my pick for best in the wave but even then he's a very close second.

https://deadline.com/2019/08/kevin-f...er-1202672545/ Well that didn't take long....I wonder if this will end up keeping Spidey out of the MCU for a bit (or altogether) going forward... Could also end up giving Sony an opening into integrating Spidey into the Venom franchise if the two companies really are at odds with one another... |

Depending how the siutation goes regardless of how long it takes, I reckon Marvel Studios should make the sercet wars as a film , where spider-man goes missing and over heroes to the trial of the beyonder.Similar to the animated show (1994) and comic. Hense his dissappearnce in phase 4 to er whatever phase he gets re-introduced.

Im almost certain they will. Because look how the past two Sony lead spidey films preformed Last edited by Tim; 08-20-2019 at 02:58 PM.. |

Given how much of MCU Peter's story was borrowing from so many other modern teen heroes (Kamala, Miles, Riri to name a few), if this is how the studio goes forward, I can see a lot of positives coming out of it.
Besides, we all know the only good Spidey motion media is Into the Spider-Verse. Or Supaidaman.
