I'm sure eventually down the line the price will go down but my main point of reference as to how long that could take is that the Defenders set is currently still the original price of $80 and it's been two years since that came out. If this were Walmart or Target exclusive I'm sure they'd permanently mark it down after like half a year because they'd need to clear up shelf space but it's not, unless it's a special sale holiday/event Amazon seems highly reluctant to discount their exclusives.

After the announcement of the She-Hulk series on Disney+, I went back and looked at the announced figure from SDCC.
Wow, I just gotta say I love the sculpt of this thing. It's beautiful. My only disappointment comes from the now obsolete, gray paint-scheme. While I generally enjoyed this storyline in the comics, it was kinda fleeting and I just don't really feel like I need this version of Jen. The other She-Hulks in the line have been pretty much misses in my book due to a mix of poor sculpts and articulation. Not hating, just hoping Hasbro will put this kind of effort on their next classic iteration of She-Hulk, if we get a next time. With all that said, we know Hasbro can't wait to re-use a good mold. So looking at the above image, what future figure predictions do you guys see with the new parts up above??? |

See, I said immediately “now, this will go on sale quickly and drastically.” But I pre-ordered it. Because I needed to have them as soon as possible. Alpha Flight is probably my secret favorite super hero team, so glad to own them. I thought I’d be lucky if we saw a couple more drip out, this is wonderful and unexpected.

Hmmm, the mystery thickens... Also in the Hasbro panel at SDCC, they listed D23 as another future site for revealing Marvel Legends. Has there been any Legends reveals, yet? Pretty sure D23 ends tomorrow. Maybe we'll hear something soon... |

She Hulk's lower body might just remain unique. Maybe it's a variation on a mold from some other femme we haven't seen.
As far as the number of characters that could sport the proportions of the new Shulkie fig goes, the list is pretty long (surprisingly). Some suspects: Titania, Red She Hulk-update, Thena, Valkyrie-update, Terraxia, Hela-update, Anaconda-maybe, Caiera the Oldstrong-so dope, Power Princess, Angela-update etc. Now, there would need to be a couple of torsos, for variety, but they could get a fair amount of mileage out of that mold. I know I'm going to get flak from this (not necessarily from you) but I feel like Red She Hulk's time has passed, unless something modern is going on I'm not aware of. We got a figure of her in..2009?? I could be off by a year. But now, if she's not had any recent exposure, it would be so far left field - not that this has stopped Hasbro from putting out unexpected figures. REd Hulk at least I think has had more recent relevance. |

I know that villainesses are underrepresented in the Marvel Legends line, but it's always surprised me that given we've had several She Hulks, they have never taken the opportunity to use that muscular female mold for a Titania so far. I like your other suggestions of course she's just the one that stands out.

Edit Speaking of Frenzy, I wouldn't mind an Acolytes Colossus. Nice on Mankiller, totally forgot. And same on Stunner I always forget her - I didn't do the Bagley years. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 08-24-2019 at 05:20 PM.. |

Really? The Amazon exclusive Defenders set has been out for years now and except for on prime day or Black Friday the cheapest Amazon has ever knocked it down has been like $10 off. The Sentinel dofp set has also remained near full price except for this most recent prime day and even then it was only like a third off but now it's back to full price. Amazon doesn't seem as willing as stores like EE to discount their exclusive multipacks whenever it suits them.

That's true (I had the opportunity to get the Defenders for $40 once) but those were timed sales not true price drops or clearance discounts, and often such deals are exclusive to prime members. The items returned to normal price within a short time and have remained full price except for moments like prime day again. I'm primarily making a comparison between Amazon and physical retailers in that Amazon's sales tend to be limited time offers meant to boost traffic whereas a physical store like Walmart or Target will also have typical holiday sales but if items are on clearance they permanently drop the price until it's gone. I've yet to see Amazon put their exclusives on permanent price drop like that.

I'll take an Acolytes Box set! Colossus, Frenzy, Vought, Unuscione, EXODUS and Fabian Cortez please, even though only two of them are on my radar at all. Oh we have to throw Senkaya in there too! edit: Cowl's MOE, Acolytes..clearly I like my 90's villains teams. |

Titiania is a no brainer if they reuse parts of the new She-Hulk. Especially if the shirt is an overlay.

^ Nice score, man. Finding vintage Storm on a Gamestop peg is near impossible IMO since they allowed everyone to preorder just her... looks like decent paint apps too.
Also that SDCC Legends She-hulk is pretty awesome looking, much nicer than the wrestling looking outfits that her MU version had. |

Hmmm...regarding the overlay possibility, I never considered it wasn't sculpted. But looking at some closer shots, I think you may be on to something. |

Just to let some people know. Vintage Storms X Shoulder badges can rotate to be in the right X position. I bought mine and one of her X shoulder badges was off center so I was going to pop it off with a knife and glue it back on I was already to do it knife opened up and I picked her up was about to start cutting and it turned freely I was so relieved.
