Decent results except only 5 votes for Selene
Three of my top 10, Storm, Firestar and Shadowcat all made it in, my BAF choice was the winner, Banshee would have been #11 for me so that was another very close one, and Lady Deathstrike, another of my top 10, is at 12. Unsurprising that Pyro is at #11 and Avalanche #10 as I'd imagine most people want both, but the TB Pyro still holds pretty well and likely that is what cost it a vote. I think I'm most shocked that Banshee, not FA Storm is #2. Also, I know I've said it before, and I know asking about certain figures at a convention is a no-no, but I think that maybe not after NYTF but SDCC is Firestar isn't revealed it truly is time to seriously ask what gives about Firestar. Is there some kind of licensing issue we don't know about that prevents this? Are they all personal haters of the character? I'm not kidding either. Someone rock the boat. My She-Hulk and Doom shipped, but it's MLK Day so it'll probably get here tomorrow. I'm excited!

Found the leftovers of the F4 wave at Walmart last night. All that was left were Sue, Reed, and Johnny but Susan was the only one I had interest in. It's a solid repaint just with new fancy boots and hair but I do prefer this new longer, flowing hair over the previous release. I also like that for this figure they're showing off her force-field power over her invisibility since I wasn't a fan of how the Walgreens figure just had the one arm kind of translucent.

Seven of my Top-10 made the list.
Also, Doctor Doom arrived today. That is one damn fine action figure. |

I would totally love that. Or they could make Ox the BAF, have the wave include Romita Sr Spidey, Montana, Dan, a classic Shocker (be a nice nod to Montana becoming Shocker in the Spectacular toon), and whatever other Spider-Verse variants Hasbro is in love with that month.

I hope they dig a little deeper into that list and give us an Exodus figure. The cape and wings alone would look awesome on a 6-inch figure.

Good luck with people applying any sort of pressure on Hasbro to get answers...especially when the top influencers and ambassadors for the Legends community who have that sort of access are hell bent on asking the same stupid ass questions about retiring the Bucky Cap mold, and ab crunches/double jointed elbows for females every year. |

Also Jackson Brice (Montana) was the first "Shocker" in Homecoming, before Adrian accidentally killed him. Regarding figures though, I actually like the modern figure we got in the Sandman wave but Shocker has always been a favorite of mine so I'd be down for a classic version too.

Is there some sort of unwritten code about asking about certain figures that aren't protected or concealed behind an embargo of some sort?

Personally I would much rather Legends influencers continue to put pressure on Hasbro for continuing to produce objectively inferior female figures than ask questions about specific characters which won't get answers.

I wasn't surprised so many X-Men characters made the Top 10, or the Top 20 for that matter. I am surprised that we don't have a Top 10 just for the X-Men characters so other Marvel Legends characters can get a better chance at getting some votes. It'd be nice to see more votes go to non-mutant characters to have a better chance of cracking the Top 20. For the results of Spider-Man characters fans want to see that got the most votes, I could see Firestar, Cardiac, Speedball, Electro [classic], Spider-Man [John Romita Sr.], Kaine and Peter Parker getting figures after all the votes they got (even if most got between 2 to 10 votes, aside from Firestar's number one spot). In the results list, I saw that Shriek is actually tied with Peter Parker, but I imagine that her figure would be for the rumored wave of Venom figures. I could also see figures for Captain Britain, Firelord and Moon Knight going to the Spider-Man line. That said, I'm surprised that characters like Aunt May, Carrion, Gwen Stacy, Morlun, Shocker [classic], Calypso, J. Jonah Jameson, Ricochet, Boomerang [classic], Frog Man, Mary Jane Watson [John Romita Sr.], Spider-Man [Superior], Spot and Green Goblin [classic] all got so many low votes. I hope that the New York Toy Fair surprises us with some more classic Spider-Man figures and that Spidey gets as much attention as the X-Men got last year.
And if we're stuck getting a wave of Gamerverse Avengers figures barely anyone's demanded for, can we at least get some kind of classic Avengers wave with proper in-scale figures of some of the Masters of Evil characters, please, Hasbro? |

Yeah that's definitely a reason to want them to do another Shocker.

I still am waiting for my movie-accurate Venom BAF, with shiny plastic and oily white veins.

He's not the only guilty party...trust me. I get that a lot of these guys don't want to bite the hand that feed them in that many of them receive free products to review, but it does kill their credibility a bit when they are practically lapping at Hasbro's heels.
Though to be fair to the mentioned influencers, he was a bit down on the Demogoblin wave. Quote:

You're not wrong however. While I don't necessarily need double jointed elbows on my female figs (I like the single joint more provided it gives me more than 90 degrees of bend,) I'd certainly like to see more usable articulation and definitely more body types. One need to look no further than the excellent Kimberly Hart figure from the MMPR Lightning Collection or their own modern She-Hulk figure to see that it can be done. Damn... I should have signed up to Fwoosh just to vote... I would have voted for Shadowcat and that would have made her tied with Storm for 3rd place... 3rd place sounds so much better than 4th.

I honestly don't understand the hard-on you all have for Firestar. Is it simply to complete the Spidey/Iceman/Firestar trio from that cartoon from 1981? That was 30 years ago. She hasn't been in any comic books for like 20 years and hasn't been in any movies either. She's a D-list character at best.

I'm old enough to have enjoyed those cartoons and would love to have a FIRESTAR action figure. |

Gee, I wonder. Could Firestar make her way into the Venom wave that’s rumored for around when the sequel drops? Maybe her, Shriek, and Carrion, along with some movie figures?
