It is very loosely She-Ra inspired.
It's Angela, Songbird, and Black Cat. The shield is from Sif. The head is Invisible Woman with the Scarlett Witch head piece cut up and flipped around. I have a gold Minerva gun for it that I didn't put in the picture. I also painted the visor gold on a Minerva head. I can't decide if I like the head I posted or the Minerva head and scarf better. |

I finally had to go to Target for stuff. They had about half the new Black Widow wave and 2 Deadly Origin Colleen Wing. I had to get one for the weapons. Mystique looks great with the sniper rifle and silenced pistol. I may be in the minority, but I don't really care about blast effects. Those smoking gun effects though... |

Likewise. I understand why, but it's still a bummer.

Same boat with Widow. The annoying part is that I’ve had the charge pending on my account for the last three days to only now get any correspondence on it.

Bummer about all your pre-order woes. I got my Walmart Black Widow on ebay from a seller with good, up-close pics. The price actually wasn't horrible, but it was a bit more than retail ($29.99 shipped, my cut-off point). I just can't buy a Marvel Legends figure sight-unseen...I know I'd get a derpy eye or mis-aligned lips or glue residue on the hairline or whatever and it would piss me off. Plus I avoided these delays...I really wanted that figure now.

I received the same email for Widow this morning. I also received the same email from Walmart yesterday my Transformers WFC: Hotlink figure.
Normally, I'd fault Walmart for this, but I'm gonna say this is actually more Hasbro's doing this time around, since it's affecting two of their exclusives from different lines, not to mention the disaster the Red Hulk has been for most of us. The Monster Venom solo fig keeps getting pushed back as well for some reason (my preorder now says late May) as well as my Snake Eyes order on Pulse (which many people have already received, yet mine was bumped back to July.) Someone mentioned a bad experience with Pulse on their Monster Venom a while back, and Pulse's way of rectifying that was complete bs. They should have issued a refund if there was no suitable replacement, no further questions asked. I've had better customer service experiences with Chinese KO sellers than I have had with Pulse so far...they have been the absolute worst at everything this far. |

Surprise (not)! I got the same email about Black Widow. Totally understand and not chuffed about it at all. I'm more concerned about how badly the AoA wave will be affected in general terms...but...we all have a lot of bigger worries on our mind these days.

I think you are talking about me. It wasn't a bad experience with Pulse. I ordered my figure from Amazon. I contacted Hasbro because Amazon was out of stock and they recommended contacting Hasbro directly. Hasbro is sending me a free figure and Amazon is letting me return the defective Monster Venom for a refund. I only posted because it was a weird process.

Granted, there are bigger problems out there in the world than not being able to find figures right now. My frustration lies in that if Target was able to get their exclusive out by the date it was promised, why wasn't Walmart when it held the same release date as the Target one? Who's at fault there? I still think Pulse is awful, worse almost as bad (if not worse) than it was when it was Hasbro Toy Shop...but that's just my personal opinion based off my horrible shopping experiences with them this far. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 04-02-2020 at 05:56 PM.. |

There are a lot of international shipping issues. I am a Buyer and work with non-Toy companies. Been teleconferencing and emailing with most of them the past 3 weeks. In China, there is a shortage of shipping containers, increased inspections, raw material challenges and a lot of uncertainty. In the US, most states have stay at home orders and it is affecting distribution. Priority is consumable goods. We are lucky anything new is being shipped from Toy manufacturers and if stores have people to put out products we want. Things are probably going to get delayed or canceled this year. We will survive. Let's stay strong, help each other out and hope that the new normal won't be having to put on face masks and gloves to go outside our homes. |
