Cool. The Magneto and Professor X sets weren’t put out yet. One guy there wasn’t interested in the Storm and Thunderbird set and only bought a Deadpool and NTW set. I need to make a custom middle finger hand for Movie Mystique. Hope to find Movie Wolverine in store with good paint apps and no marks on his face.

Oh shit I need to check my Insider points and get more characters for Contest of Champions. I didn’t know they could be redeemed there. I should have a lot of points from the Sentinels.

Looks like the Hellfire Club, the Logan movie figures, Silk and the Hellfire goon are all officially sold out on Pulse now.

I redeemed the X-Men Sentinel comic issue, but I can't figure out how to download it. Every time I click on something it just takes me to some screen asking me for Itunes or Googleplay, both of which I do not use.

It says there's 4 of the Storm/Thunderbird set at a local Target. The fact that there's still this many left this late into the day has me thinking it's either not there and it's about to be sent out, or Target is adhering to the street date and not allowing anybody to purchase them.
I still really don't understand street dating toys. And that wouldn't bother me so much, except I know that when the actual street date hits, there's gonna be 4 or 5 other guys there looking for the same thing. |

Does everyone else who has this, the lightening tendrils hands on Storm, are her fingers really wrinkly and not well molded?
Probably my only complaint about the set is that, and the fact I fear I'm going to break her getting the calm head on her. After this one, no more Ebay for me for a while, even if it was on the cheaper side. But I do not have time to play on Sunday. |

Hi, All!
I'm new here and new to Marvel Legends collecting, but I've been a figure customizer and general comics nerd for decades. For the last year, I saw and passed by numerous Marvel Legends sales on dorkside & others, then all of a sudden I got an irresistible urge to build out nice X-Men and Avengers collections.. just after all of the old stock sold out and sales expired, naturally. Making up for lost time now, though! The latest ML figs really have hit a beautiful sweet spot of aesthetics, articulation and affordability. Anyhoo, I missed out on the Sentinel kickstarter. What are the chances that Hasbro will offer it up for sale again as a last chance? Is that something they tend to do or that you can ask for? |

WARNING...WARNING...WARNING... (Read in Nostrormo's Mother voice).
I don't tend to complaint a lot about little plastic figurines, but I've noticed a trend to get bad colour applications, stiff joints, loose joints, miss-aligned accessories etc, etc. I got two Storm/ Thunderbird sets (one more on the way, FOR myself); a Rogue/Pyro set and. Deadpool/Negasonic set. This are the list of QC problemos. Thunderbird: Stupid boot fringes slipping down would it kill them to glue them? (Maybe) Storm 1: supper wobbly head, totally stiff leg swivels, lightning on fingers not painted (which looks like ringworm), leg seam with black paint. Scuff on right breast (both Storms have this, swimsuit ring not painted at all, right leg falling off. Storm 2: no wobbly head, but both heads have miss-aligned tiaras, brown paint splash on boot, black paint splash on skin. I do love the sculpt except I feel Storm should be a little more endowed, I fixed some issues, but why should I? These are not arts and crafts figures, nor cheap. Solution, frankestein the three Storms into one good one. Sigh. Rogue is mostly fine. Some White splodges on the green and a "skin" tag on elbow (yuk), and a horrible neck. Lipstick on teeth on alt head. Pyro: dot on nose. I guess I'm using the other head. No choice. Deadpool: splodges everywhere. Maybe it can be weathering? Negasonic: good apps, great face but, but, hair is too far back, making her look like Ant Mcpalin (google it). So, they are going all back in the box to be fixed at a later date after I move house and get my ducks in a row. Side note: my Duke had the print of the middle of his lips above his top lip. I exchanged that one, as I can't fix that tiny "got chocolate milk?" detail... I still love the figures, but it seems that invariably, when I get an order delivered, I have to boil the kettle, get my pliers/glue/varnish removal/acrylic paints. I guess Hasbro wants us all to get arty. Quote:

Mine just arrived stateside from Taiwan and should get to me in the next day or so. I'm hoping for a better result. |

Thank you TBM! Yes, I wish better luck for you. My storm has old lady fingers! But fortunately that's just for the one set up hands and she comes with three. Otherwise, the figure is great. no marks on mine that I can tell and sculpting and painting looks really good too. I do wish they would have included a third head with blue eyes, but I knew we weren't getting that when I bought it. maybe for later.
Oh and Thunderbird looks good too. But like most people, he wasn't really why I bought the set. |

@Nash
^No sweat, man. I remembered Ariel saying something about funky fingers. As I mentioned over the weekend, I doubt this will end up as my favorite Storm, but I'm no less excited to get her FA fig (both figs in the set, really) and, obviously, I hope to avoid QC issues. We'll see... Thanks for the well wishes, congrats on Firestar (I was happy for you), and hope we get Vance (current time-line) soon as I've wanted him for years also... |

Just like the limited number of HasLab Barges they made available on eBay, I wonder if Hasbro can allow those popular online stores, to accept more pre-orders? That would be so cool.

Make this available again too! Someone asked to rerelease this in time for next year's MasterMold/Sentinel release...

@Super Joe & @Captain Nash -- Thanks for the info and welcome! Yeah, it would be amazing if Hasbro made the Sentinel available again! I sent an email to customer support asking if they would sell it again. I'm not holding my breath, but I just wanted to add to what hopefully becomes a chorus.

X-Men Animated's 30th Anniversary is in a couple of years. So a lotta toys in Retro packaging would be perfect. Love to see Master Mold rereleased in a Retro "Pocket Comic" Toy Biz comic packaging. Just like how they did DOFP Sentinel with a classic comic as it's packaging. The inside cardboard art should mimic this classic art...

Example of a X-Men Animated 30th Anniversary Master Mold (rerelease) in a classic comic cover art packaging, similar to the DOFP Sentinel classic comic cover packaging...
