They should just do a box set for the Outback era team, but that would probably be too costly since it would require 8 figures. I don't think I'll ever be done collecting X-Men because they've still got many characters from the Claremont run to cover. Even my top 10 list doesn't cover everyone from his tenure. I'm 50/50 on New Mutants, but considering I just preordered the New Mutants Omnibus that is coming out in Dec, that could possibley change to 100%. Which direction that is, I do not know yet.

Case in point, I still have yet to see the Walmart Black Widow. I was bouncing back and forth between 11 different Walmarts every 2-3 days in May, June, July, and most of August before giving up. It's utter and complete bullshit that I can not find her and now my only resort is to buy her online for a higher price because who knows if Hasbro is actually going to reissue her. And even if they do, who knows if she is going to include all of the accessories and stuff. |

If ya'll want better sculpts / better articulation in a new smaller Wasp, Ant-Man, Yellow Jacket, Squirrel Girl, etc. Dan Yun is asking = "What do you think of Retro 3.75?" Lots of collectors are asking for better articulation to match with their 6 inch figures. I surely will buy a bunch more little articulated Antmans!

I don't have any "I'm done" figures. As long as Hasbro keeps putting out cool stuff that appeals to me, I'm in.

AO Psylocke and Rogue, well, I'd like them personally, a lot. But I'm not convinced they are coming for sure or mostly sure. I definitely hold out hope for Armored Psylocke though. Rogue from that era, well if we don't get her I'm not too chuffed, but I'd definitely buy if she was released. |

I'm with you there. While I've decided to cut back in other areas, I'll get every X character they want to put out.

I sort of feel that way too. I've got a lengthy list and am going to try to stick to that list and only those characters/looks on the list, but half of me suspects that if it's X-Men related I'll probably fail and just get them all anyways.

For some reason I thought Colossus wore some type of furry vest during the Outback era...

A furry vest? In the desert? Wouldn't have been a great plan. Not sure how his body regulates heat when he's made out of steel, but still a weird choice. Not that Psylocke's armour or the prevalence of black leather (or just black, in general) on the rest of the team made much sense either. Still my favourite era of X-Men, though!

They could limit it down to 6 if needed. I would imagine that classic Havok would be a larger release and we (almost) already have the Dazzler we need. I doubt they would release this without Wolverine, but if they did, we could get an updated Dazzler or maybe Madelyne Pryor who hung back at base before going full Goblyn Queen.

I honestly feel like if they did a box set of AO it would not include Dazzler for sure. Wolverine would be the other one I'd remove to get it to 6, but we know that's not going to happen. So I'd pick Colossus to go, as his outfit is "closest" to what we already have not that it's actually close, just less so than the rest.
Ooh! Or they could just release Longshot as a single, and not include him in a set and problem solved. Last edited by Captain Nash; 10-21-2020 at 09:07 AM.. |

This design:
Maybe it's not furry, but some pictures I've seen of that costume looked it to me.

5 Pack of Outback Colossus (shirtless with big X belt), Rogue, Havok, Psylocke, and Wolverine. 2 Pack of Outback Dazzler and Longshot.

Outback era X-men would be automatic must buys for me. I can't imagine that Hasbro will stop making X-men figures and since the MCU hasn't gotten to mutants yet I really hope to get at least a couple more years worth of comics style figures. The Outback era is top of my list for a new team look to focus on since we are almost done with the 90s Jim Lee and Giant sized eras.

Oof and Havok as well as the outfit(s) Psylocke wore when she first joined. Honestly if they don't cover any of Rogues outfits before AO era except her first appearance or any of the looks around the time of the Mutant Massacre, I'm okay with that. The distinctions are either very slight or in the case of some not all that long lived. And Psylocke's original X-men look was ugly, there, I said it LOL Last edited by Captain Nash; 10-21-2020 at 11:53 AM.. |

See, I’m actually a real fan of that look. I’d love a figure of that.

That's the team right before the Outback era. That roster was around through roughly #190 through the Mutant Massacre storyline. It's still a great Colossus costume that I would totally buy in figure form! I also really like that Magneto costume even thought I know it's one of his worst costumes.
