I still hope that the Starjammers are just done as a four-pack, I worry that as individuals they wouldn't move that well but there's a draw to getting the primary team all at once.

As for putting the logo on a Red Skull wearing his more formal, military dress attire, I don't see why not. It was done with the Hydra armband in place for the 3.75 Marvel Universe figure. Whether or not Hasbro is purposely avoiding the Nazi-inspired imagery of this particular look is an entirely different discussion altogether, but in light of the political and racial sensitivities of today's world, it's probably for the best. I don't think we'll be seeing a figure of it anytime soon. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 03-03-2021 at 01:01 PM.. |

Hasbro uses the word "classic" to mean comic-based, by the way. "Classic X" only ever meant an X-Men comic wave, which I realize is currently the only type of X-Men wave, but you'll see the word "classic" on the cardboard case that every all-comic wave comes in. It doesn't refer to any details about which characters or costumes are chosen for the wave.
A new wave could maybe mix it up. Something like this could be fun: Cannonball (confirmed?) Hepizbah (possible rumor?) Longshot Exodus Rogue (AoA) Magneto (AoA) Sabertooth (AoA) with maybe an Abyss (AoA) BAF I wouldn't grab all of these figures myseld (most likely would skip the AoA and Starjammers) but I would buy some. |

The “Super Hero Squad” Hepzibah is the modern outfit, do people think that’s the version we would (hypothetically) be getting in Legends?
I’d personally vastly prefer the classic look, but the tooling for the modern look could be easier. If they went classic, I could see some reuse for Tigra/ Wolfsbane/ Feral as Dwight had mentioned in past interviews. |

lot of those leakers are often right it seems but the Hasbro team has also dropped some hints that don't seem to add up to AoA such as the new Cannonball with legs figure and if Hepzibah is the new figure with a tail I assume she'd be in an X-men wave too but she is definitely not AoA.
Amazon's team boxset (a'la Children of Thanos and Alpha Flight): Excalibur Amazon's three-pack (a'la Magneto and Nimrod sets): Feral/Siryn/Rictor with Cannonball's legs as a pack-in That's all hints accounted for! Legs, tail, and sword! As for Hepzibah, I personally think people read a little too far into the Legends team's posts. It's very likely Dwight was literally just musing about the fact that SHS got to a few characters that Legends has yet to tackle, nothing more. He's not even on the marketing team! He gets paid to sculpt pretty toys, not drop viral breadcrumbs. Last edited by Benn Roe; 03-03-2021 at 07:22 PM.. |

Nothing says those figures need to be in a wave, though! Imagine this:

@Benn Roe, thanks for this info! I am excited for another comic-based X-men wave, though I'm in the group hoping that it is not a second AoA wave. I am starting to hope/think maybe it will be a mixed wave that includes some AoA and some other X-men characters. I lot of those leakers are often right it seems but the Hasbro team has also dropped some hints that don't seem to add up to AoA such as the new Cannonball with legs figure and if Hepzibah is the new figure with a tail I assume she'd be in an X-men wave too but she is definitely not AoA.

As I've said, this is Captain America's 80th anniversary year and the Red Skull is his go-to main adversary, so if the time would've been right, this probably would've been it. I am hoping that Captain America gets some kind of 80th anniversary Marvel Legends love, though unfortunately, I don't see that happening. Last edited by StuartGreen2019; 03-03-2021 at 09:48 PM.. |

Really interested in seeing some of those "What-If" figures. From the trailer, I feel like Captain Peggy, Star-Panther, Dark Dr. Strange, and Zombie Cap all have decent shots. Oh, and this has to be the best shot we've got at finally getting that Uatu! |

Their shows won't be out until late 2021 at the earliest, possibly not until 2022.

I feel like on their current schedule they could've at least included Kate and Hawkeye. If the first D+ wave is released around June, then the the 2nd wave probably wouldn't come out until September or October, which would be right around the time Hawkeye comes out.

I guess, but I fee like they're probably in the late stages of filming, it wouldn't have been to far fetched to see a Hawkeye. D+ wave 3 in 2022 with Hawkeye, Kate, Kamala and a couple of others?

In short, yes I think that Clint, Kate, and Kamala will be a in a third wave of Disney+ Legends. Hasbro hasn't revealed anything for WandaVision until after certain episodes premiere and I expect the same will hold true for future MCU shows. To get into the finer details, here's the schedule for the MCU's for movies and tv shows in 2021. I'm pulling this from different Wiki pages and not checking multiple sources so some of this may change or be slightly inaccurate. * March: Falcon and Winter Soldier (6 episodes) * May: Black Widow * June: Shang-Chi * June: Loki (6 episodes) * Summer/Mid 2021: What If? (10 episodes) * November: Eternals * December: Spiderman No Way Home * Late 2021: Ms. Marvel (? episodes) * Late 2021: Hawkeye (? episodes) According to the Fwoosh's release schedule for Legends, here's what 2021 potentially looks like. Some of this is based on rumor so remember, grain of salt. * April: Shang-Chi * May: Disney+ Wave 1 * June: Bring on the Bad Guys * July: Iron Man * August: What If? * Summer/Fall: Infinity Saga * September: X-Men/AoA * October: Eternals and Spiderman No Way Home * November: Fantastic Four * December: ???? The release of the first two Disney+ waves fits nicely with the release of the shows. I don't think we'll see a lot of secrecy for the What If? series since it's not canon. Guessing when a third D+ wave will be released is a little trickier. Right now, we don't even know which series will premiere first or even potential months that a series might start in. Then there are the characters that'll appear in the wave. It's been announced that Hawkeye will introduce the characters Echo, Swordsman, and Clown into the MCU. Depending on how big of a role those three have in the show, there could potentially be 5 figures from Hawkeye in a third Disney+ wave. And like I said above, I wouldn't expect Hasbro to reveal any figures until they've appeared on the show. Add one or two more characters from the Ms. Marvel show and the D+ Wave 3 is complete. If Hawkeye premieres before Ms. Marvel in the fall, then a third Disney+ wave could arrive in December 2021. If Ms. Marvel premieres first, then a third wave might arrive in Jan./Feb. 2022 due to waiting on Hawkeye. I hope all of that is coherent to someone. Like I said at the start, I've rewritten this a few times because I keep finding more information. Last edited by jwyss234; 03-04-2021 at 06:12 PM.. |

I can't believe we might be getting a What if Dr. Strange before a regular classic Dr. Strange. And Zombie Cap should be a Walmart exclusive so he can pegwarm next to all those Venom Caps. Sign me up for Captain Peggy though.

Oooo my ears perked up at Swordsman even if it is MCU. I know I'm more a comic figure collector but I'll gladly buy an MCU version of a character we don't have as a stand in.
(btw not meaning to belittle or disrespect the MCU figures or the collectors who are focus on either them or on the entire line. "even if" is more my own personal thing. And i completely am of the opinion that MCU figures are needed in the line if we are going to continue to get comic figures and vice versa. At this point they are both necessary for the line to survive, and probably why it has survived as long as it has.) |

She arrived today:
I originally planned to display her with the flowing hair since I like the sculpt better, but I love the paint job on the hair for the other head due to the streaks going down it, so I might end up displaying her with that one. The dog's cool, I guess.

Ok I've rewritten my response a couple of time because every time I look up the MCU schedule and and information on Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel, I feel like I'm falling down a rabbit hole.

If the universe is in a giving mood, hopefully we can expect another MCU reveal on Monday like the sneaky one that popped up on the 1st.
Hopefully of THAT character in THAT appearance with THAT accessory. If I had to guess, the first D+ could come very soon and consist of: Wanda (some iteration) Vision (some interation) Falcon Winter Soldier Agent 13/Sharon Carter Zemo I'm torn on who the BAF could be and if the wave would really consist of more than six figures. I'd think they'd maybe double pack either the titular characters of WandaVision or Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Last edited by Vex; 03-05-2021 at 08:21 AM.. |
