There is officially no reason now for Randy to say something is "too niche" EVER again...

Sure there is. These are figures funded by Scream Factory, much like they did on the previous Night of the Demons, or the Scott Ian exclusive figure.

What's really disappointing though is that "My Bloody Valentine" is on the list of films that Scream Factory is doing a commemorative set for in the very near future, yet they opted to give us a figure from "Slumber Party Massacre" instead. Pretty bummed out about that...

But it all comes down to what Scream Factory wanted and what licensing and likeness rights were available.

I still want Shout! to just do a John Carpenter collection. They have released practically every film of his through the 90s now.

THAT'S what the killer from Slumber Party Massacre looks like? I've never seen the movie but of course I'm familiar with the iconic (mee-yow!) poster. I don't know what I expected the dude to look like, but I didn't think he'd look like Bill Cosby's nerdy son-in-law from The Cosby Show.

The retro line is for more of the obscure characters. When Randy tells fans that something is "too niche" it normally is in response to them asking about something being done done in the ultimate format.

Yeah, that's a weird expression they chose the figure. I personally might have gone for something a little more threatening (as opposed to...confused?), but whatever.
