Is thisan obscure eighties line (That I can't remember) that they're trying to bring back, or is this something new?

I had Adam and Arkas.
Man, they were weird. I'd rather the new ones be 7" rather than 4". I guess they'll be displayed behind cosmic MU opposed to MOTUC.

The original line had the other side of the figure be the transformation. Is this the same or are they different figures? That was the lure of them back in the day and what made them different and weird.

These will use the Glyos system instead of flipping around. The Glyos system (named after the Glyos toys) allows for figure parts to be swapped easily. If you've ever seen the 4 Horsemen Outer Space Men figures, it works like that. So, in the case of Adam, instead of flipping him around, you would simply pop the torso off and place the powered up version on.

These look great, but I agree with Colder Soldier. Really wish these were not 3.75" scale. Makes them a pass for me.

No word, but I'm going to guess no. 4H doesn't seem to do that for their lines much. If the line is a runaway success, then I could see it. But it's appealing to a niche of a niche market, so costs will need to be kept down.

I love that these are 3.75". They make these a win for me. I love this decision. Now they need to do the same with the Silver Hawks!

Cool my brother had Power Lord and I had Bakatak from a small grocers in the 80's I thought they we're just some cheap KO of some other toys. I wouldn't mind these especially in 3.75". My GI Joe/Marvel/Thundercats Universe just got a little bigger, even more so when the 3.75" Dr Who figures come out. Now all I need is Hasbro to release an MU and ML Death's Head I and II.

I loved my adam power figure! I can't remember if I had any other figs to be honest...but I kept him for a long time. I had to google the name of the figs and see pics when I read about 4 Horsemen doing power lords... I was like 'why does that sound familiar' lol I don't like the fact that they're gonna be that small nor do I like the switching bodies...if you can switch the torso's why not just make a double side top half we pull turn around? This makes no sense to me... I got very excited when I read about these and now have become less than thrilled at what I've found out about them...
So I was like 6 when these came out...I miss those days |
