I've been waiting for beskar mando! wonder if he'll have the jetpack or the signet on him.

They took their sweet time getting around to original Ackbar, still better late than never. I might pursue the ESB Vader, I think the 40th anniversary one is great but they are technically different looks.

I'm not sure if I'll even bother with the Beskar Mandalorian since getting the regular one was a hassle.

Fett looks weird carbonized since he's got mostly cloth on his body, he doesn't really have a ton of armor.

I prefer his ESB look but I have to agree that it's weird they haven't gotten around to the RotJ version.

I'm not even a huge Boba Fett guy but I dig his RotJ look for the more colorful jetpack and red gauntlets haha. They must be saving that look for SOME reason though, right?

Probably a stupid con exclusive. Honestly i didn't like his rotj look as it looked like a mishmash hodgepodge of stuff. Esb looked a bit more uniform.

Glad we are finally getting a beskar armor Mando and that ESB Vader looks nice. I might just pre-order me those two at least. Wonder if we will ever get a figure of Kuiil?

Maybe someone can enlighten me, but outside of the eyes, I don't see any difference between the Rogue 1 Vader and the ESB Vader.

So the main difference is the way he wears his robing/cloth parts with relation to his upper chest/collar armor (I believe it's called a gorget). In '77 and Rogue One his robing is worn over the armor but then in ESB and RotJ the armor was on top. His gloves are also different on the back, in '77/RO they have a horizontal segmented ribbing where in the other movies they're mostly smooth. His helmet is also mildly changed, it's a little wider and maybe larger overall in the original in addition to the eyes being a red-like color. The last and smallest detail of note is that in '77/RO his upper right button on his chest-box was green and then in ESB/RotJ it was blue.

Yeah, I'm much more a fan of the more cohesive ESB costume, but for some reason every artist and his dog seems to prefer the ROTJ version.

That said, I would like to see a ROTJ Boba Fett, if for no other reason than that the level of articulation and sculpted detail in the Black Series line has improved tremendously since 2013, and the original Boba Fett (and many of the other initial releases) looks a bit archaic now. They're probably planning something stupid like waiting for the 40th anniversary of ROTJ in 2023, though...

If they make a RotJ Boba Fett they are going to re-use as much of the old figure as they can, it won't be much of an improvement if at all.

Another difference is that, while the Rogue One/ANH Vader's helmet had a very dull sheen, with painted-on shading/shine to highlight the shaping like in ANH, this one has a completely glossy sheen.

Holy hell... my Black Series collection just unexpectedly doubled in size with this reveal. Ackbar and Teebo (would have been any ewok) will be joining the Gamorrean guard and Sandtrooper. Now I just need Momaw Nadon and Luke on his tauntaun, and I'm all set.

for the regular mando, i think black series has done the dirtied look better than figuarts' clean look, but with the upgraded suit, i think the SHF clean look is a lot better.

ewok and arkbar are cool but why not wicket 1st?
