I was the same way when I read that. I went 'Oh *@#$ me, then I remebered Wave 10 and felt a little more at ease.

Which means this most likely will be another wave 5 since they did so good with 10.

meanwhile... the Wal-Mart exclusive line STILL hasn't made it to my neck of the woods...

In my area wave 5 was very abundant and wave 10 was scarce. Who knows what this wave will be like, but I am only going to buy 3 I like anyway.

Still haven't seen Wave 10 in Michigan. Grrr.... looks like I'll be getting in touch with my buddy that got me Wave 10 this past year. LOL.

It'd help if marvel actually had some well done or used Gay characters.
Northstar's gone from cool, to just too whiney as shown in Nation X.

Ultimate Colossus would be neat though. But he's also a drug addict... So again not exactly a good hero spokesperon for fans.

Not that DC has faired any better in this regard though.
Do I need to even remind people how shoe horned in they've done it too?



On the other hand though, it's nice to see Alan Scott's family rounding out the DCUC so quickly with him in the same wave.

i remember reading that in the walmart cpu it said there would be jade.

I thought that it was reported that Mattel was not going to do anymore exclusives this year for DCUC except for the WM and TRU 2 packs coming out in 03/10

Just saw these in ToyFare today.. I am not sure I liked the head sculpts of Obsidian and Alan Scott. The others look ok. But the gritted teeth thing i think looks cheesy. Gold looks non descript.

Wave 10 counted as last year.

I read in a recent interview with the Toy Guru on another toy collector website that more WM exclusives are planned if WM wants them and they are not done with 2 packs. They are just on hiatus for the moment and that Mattel plans on releasing more 2 packs next year. The proposed Golden Age Hawkgirl and Hawkman TRU exclusive 2 pack was never sculpted, Hawkman was to have his yellow cowl and was scrapped pretty quickly but they have a Bizzarro vs. Superman 2 pack ready to go if WM wants to order it.
